I don't want anyone on the Buck's team outside of Giannnas Anteomopglkhsdkljashdfkjhalsdf and Brandon Knight, and I doubt they trade either

Larry Sanders has been either hurt or severely outplayed by John Henson all season. Looks like he's destined to be a one season wonder.

And Mayo? Yeesh, might as well keep Gordon.

I just did a Gordon/Aminu for Chris Bosh, which works, just farting around,
says we are 3 games worse with Bosh. That's hilarious.

I figured you would sacrifice yourself to AIDS to get rid of EG

"Closely scrutinizing" is sort of like "irregardless." To scrutinize is to closely examine something, so to closely closely examine something is a dumb way of putting it

Gordon/Aminu/Steamer for Mayo/Butler/Sanders works in trade machine. Just saying.

We would have a hard time staying under the cap.

Guarenteed
Evans: $11.3
Holiday: $11.0
Sanders: $11.0
Anderson: $8.5
Mayo: $8.0
Davis: $5.6
Rivers: $2.5
Morrow: $1.1
Total = $59 million

Not sure about Babbitt's/Ajinca's contracts.

Add to this the fact that we still have a gaping hole at SF and seven more roster spots to fill. If we wanted to add a few shooters/role players, it would probably call for a large tax payment. I'm no cap expert, so help me out if my post is misleading or incorrect.

A much better deal for us would be Sanders/Butler for Gordon. How unrealistic is that? Probably no chance

ETA: or Sanders/Butler/Neal for Gordon/Aminu, if that would be more attractive to Milwaukee. I think someone in this thread said that Neal and Sanders had some beef though.

Player (position) / Salary
Evans (2) / $11.3
Holiday (1) / $11.0
Sanders (5) / $11.0
Anderson (4) / $8.5
Davis (4,5) / $5.6
Granger MLE (3) / $5.0
Neal (2) / $3.9
Rivers (1,2) / $2.5
Smiht (4,5) / $2.5
Ajinca (5) / $1.5
Morrow (2) / $1.2
Miller (3) / $1.1
Withey (5) / $0.8
Jackson (1) / $0.8
Babbitt (3) / $0.8

Total= $67.5 million (including $5 million MLE)

Kind of guessed on a few (Ajinca, Babbitt, Smith, Jackson). I'm not great with the cap data, so I could be wrong on which MLE we would be able to use. Would be a pretty sweet roster though.

Holiday, Rivers, Jackson
Evans, Morrow, Neal
Granger, Miller, Babbitt
Davis, Anderson, Smith
Sanders, Ajinca, Withey

In no way, do i want to have 11M invested in Sanders for 4 years. in no world would that make us a better team, even if he played well for his standards.
We need a 3. We are a low seeded playoff/fringe playoff team if we are healthy right now. A really good 2 or 3 is the only thing that can make us a higher seeded playoff team. Unless the 5 is Dwight/Gasol/Bosh, no center that we pay 12+ million a year to is going to make us a better playoff team that can give us a chance to consider being a championship team, so don't waste the money on a 5.

Would Granger take the MLE?

Even with his injury history, there's a sucker born every minute and a couple of teams, like Dallas, will be throwing around money like drunken sailors.

I'm not sure what he's worth. Since he's 30 and been hobbling for a year I can't see many wanting him for more than $6-7/year. I'm really not sure though. Maybe coming home to retire in your home town would play a factor in our favor. Maybe not. He may hate Louisiana for all I know

I like the plan. But how about..

Evans, Rivers and Gordon (NO) for Mayo, Butler, Sanders, Udoh and Wolters (Bucks)?

We would have a bunch of expiring contracts (Butler, Udoh, Aminu, Smith, etc..) minus Sander's new contract. So we could go after a major FA at SF or trade for one. I'm thinking we'd have around 10M to spend.

Holiday, Wolters
Mayo, Morrow
FA, Miller
Davis, Anderson
Sanders, Ajinca

If Sanders can be the 10/10/2 type of guy, he's not a horrible deal. Mayo is a decent 3rd/4th scorer and is a much more reasonable contract..
