How much did Gordon's injury seasons skew that?

they aren't going to give him a 0 for every stat for every game the year he didn't play and put that in the stats. It didn't affect it at all.

So...

Would people be on board with a Gordon Zaza/Mayo swap?

What about the Gordon Butler/Mayo swap?

Would people be willing to take on Sanders? Could Sanders work next to Davis?

So, playing through injuries doesn't affect performance?

There wasn't much "playing through" as I recall.

Well, knowing how Gordon is, i'm pretty sure he never played with any nagging injury. He always seems to wait until he's 110% healthy.

And that's kind of Gordon's MO, being hurt and all so i still don't see where it affects his performance since it's a part of his normal performance.
Regardless, i don't like him and would do any trade that involved Gordon for Mayo, strictly b/c of the money and that i don't see the big difference bewteen the two players. Yes Gordon is better, but he's not better than Mayo and another guy for that same money.

True, but he did play some. It was just a question.

The NBA is stupid and place a big emphasis on potential instead of production, and they always think they can change that player and make him better by putting him in a better situation.

This is eerily similar to what people said about signing Reke

I wouldn't mind this. We don't really save much, but Zaza can at least be our starting C.

I'd rather simply for the cap savings.

If Ben Gordon isn't available I think you have to. The only one you hesitate on is Sanders because he's got so much more money left on his deal. You'd have to be pretty sure he'd fit well next to Davis.

Yeah I just don't know about that one. IF it worked out, your frontcourt is set for years and years and years. You'd have to get some 3 point shooters and you have the makings of a very, very good team. Sanders and Davis dominating inside, Jrue and Tyreke able to penetrate, kick out, score. Ryno and 2 other players (SG + SF) that can knock down the 3.

If Sanders/Davis doesn't work out...if they are both too skinny and don't compliment each other's games...ug.

But anyway, I don't think the Bucks are moving Sanders.

no, i like tyreke. but he's not a 3. I want him playing with the second team with Roberts, Anderson, Smith, Babbitt. And i want him having the ball in his hands most of the time. I like that second team a lot.

A Mayo/ZaZa for Gordon/Steamshit gives the Bucks Gordon plus $20 million in cap room for next year, plus they have the top pick in the draft most likely.
I would much rather Mayo/Butler since that gives us an extra 8 million since butler is expiring, then try to find a servicable 3 to start

Gordon/Aminu/Steamer for Mayo/Butler/Sanders works in trade machine. Just saying.
