Mayo is not near the caliber player that EG is.

His injuries have been a distraction. His mishandling of Free Agency didn't win him any popularity contests, but he's hardly a cancer. He's an introvert that is from the midwest. I don't think the Bucks will be as mad at him as you are.

OJ Mayo is more than capable of giving this team the same thing Gordon is, at $6million cheaper

maybe, but all rumors point to the Bucks wanting to unload Mayo as they just don't want him.

I've seen a few trade proposals with Zaza/Mayo for EG. We would have the same amount of money on the books for the same amount of time, but have two smaller contracts that might be easier to move later.

So what caliber of player do you put EG in?

I actually agree with this, not that I think Gordon is this great player, but I think very little of Mayo.

yeah I understand the Pels may take back similar salary, I was just comparing the 2 players... Mayo can do exactly what EG does, and has before in both Memphis and Dallas

I think Mayo is a lil better shooter than Gordon. Gordon is a better penetrator (when he doesn't dribble off his foot).

Bucks better include that unprotected 2014 draft pick if they want EG!

I mean the second round

Hes a better overall player than Mayo. If the grizzlies thought mayo was worth a shite they would have kept him.

Yall keep hating on EG bc he's overpaid. The fact is he's still a good player and obviously better than some piece of shite SG who can't get a ton of minutes on the worst team in the league.

I agree that Gordon actually is a good player. He's just paid too much and is inconsistent, especially in the 2nd half.

Its not accurate if we are going by TS%, efg, or FG%. Just saving you the trouble of looking it up.

Gordon is better in all of those categories, career wise.

Thanks. I saw that Gordon is better from 3 this year, but ESPN and NBA make their stats a little tough to find on mobile devices.

When he says he's a better shooter, i assume he means a better 3 point shooter, which he is.

And Gordon is a better penetrator, but i agree with David Wesley, he gets no calls whatsoever when he drives. It's really ridiculous.

Far from "much" better player, IMO... Add in the cost difference and I'll take OJ
