Actually one of the first I ever saw live was one of the best...Hibernation - Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes in 74.

A couple of other oddballs...
Dan Fogelberg - Heart Hotels
Chet Atkins - Vincent

While we're on the subject - another underrated act. I didn't see them live, but from their live videos, in their heyday, they were outstanding. Rik Emmett is one of the underrated musicians of his generation - a poor man's, Canadian Peter Framption (probably better than Frampton, honestly).

They put on a hell of a show

Daughter / It's OK - Pearl Jam - Virginia Beach 8/3/2000.

It was the band's first concert back after the tragedy at Roskilde where several fans were crushed when the crowd surged toward the stage. Pretty intense.

Everlong by Foo Fighters. Going into it, I expected to hear the shitty acoustic version but they played it hard and heavy.

I met my fiance that night. We were singing along the entire time to that song. Neither of has had any idea we would be where we are now but that was one of the greatest moments of my life.

"Imagine" sung by Paul McCartney in memory of John...extremely emotional with everyone in the crowd locking shoulders and swaying/singing along.

"No Quarter" sung by Tool at Bonnaroo.

Ok..... Now I'm extraordinarily jealous. I've seen U2 many times but have never seen them perform that song live. I love the version they put out on Wide Awake in America. The Ungorgettable Fire is the album that introduced me to U2 and I have fond memories of listening to A Sort of Homecoming. Would love to have a time machine and be able to see them perform that song live back in the day.

Still Haven't Found is always beautiful and emotional. Pride is amazing live too. I love it when the entire crowd sings the oh, oh, uh, ah part together. Is always a high point of the show. However, streets always seems to push the emotional energy into outer space every single time.
