The Ungorgettable Fire is the album that introduced me to U2 and I have fond memories of listening to A Sort of Homecoming.

Along with DSOTM, it's one of the albums that had a profound affect on me.

Allman brothers- Mountain Jam> Don't keep me wondering to start their first set at wanee a few years ago

also saw them play Jessica in Dallas and they almost never do that. It was pretty sweet.

Also kind of a random one. Bootsy Collins-munchies for your love is awesome live

Also as an aside....anyone ever been to a concert solo before? I really want to see them in June but it's on a Tuesday and I'm already afraid most of my usual concert buddies are gonna pass.

Depends on the show IMHO.

I have done a few shows solo. its better with someone, but its pretty easy to strike up a conversation at a show.

as I get older, if I want to see some bands I have to go solo. The wife will attend a lot of stuff she doesn't like, but her threshold for a tuesday midnight show is a lot lower than mine.

And my friends won't go see shows unless they know the band. So that kills a bunch of shows.

I will likely see black mountain solo in early may. Sorta looking forward to it.

Holland, 1945 by Neutral Milk Hotel moved the earth. It was a magical moment.

Also, Keep Yourself Warm by Frightened Rabbit made them one of my favorite bands.

And if I had a time machine, I'd go back to high school so I could see Fugazi play Bulldog Front one more time.

Fugazi 2/15/91 DC
I'm mesmerized by the energy and crowd.
