One of the few decent storylines of this mediocrity fest is watching Velcoro go from a self-admitted shitty person that murdered his wife's rapist to a self-admitted shitty person that killed the wrong guy.

This is how you develop.characters...show not tell. They don't need philosophical bS to be interesting. Clearly established motivations tonight. If they don't botch it this could end up being more satisfying last 3 episodes than season 1.

This episode was solid. This should be a baseline type episode for a show, not the best one of the season though

This should have been the first episode. We could have done without so much of the other shite that happened in the first 4 episodes and what we needed could have been included as flashbacks or recollections

Yeh this episode could have easily been a solid 1st episode. Episodes 1-4 basically served no purpose and rambled on

Seriously, even with the fact that VV and co. don't seem to fit in with things, the end of the episode wraps it up perfectly. If I didn't already have the plot points from the first 4 episodes in mind, this one would have actually made me want to keep watching.

It should have been the second episode. Explaining Vince's lie, casper's death, the Russian connect, Springfield crushing tens and mayor's family issues could have been the first show. Cut the sex issues with McAdams and gay issues with mr. Army and baby shite with Vince and this is more streamlined which would have been more appealing. I really liked the episode and hope they didn't waste five episodes to try and squeeze too much into the last three.

Look, you really think the episode was awesome? As in an episode that will be talked about in the future like the Reggie Ledoux or Beaumont episode from last year? I don't. It was a very solid episode with concise writing that was easy to follow and made me excited for the next episode. But in no way could I say it was an awesome episode
