Halfway through this episode, no doubt the best of the season so far. Still not great, but I was able to actually finish half of this one without shutting it off.

I thought Casper was killed at the kinky house? Wasn't that where he was driven from in first episode by birdman???

There was blood there but not sure if we know for sure where he was killed. That house they found last night in North calif had a chair with straps and blood stains all over the seat and floor

Some of the dialogue can be frustrating. Like when the chick takes note of the buzzards circling and the other guy says "We're following birds now?" This is a "detective" and he can't figure out why buzzards circling might mean something? Come on.

I like the noir aspect and I don't get outdone with slow pacing or not having everything spelled out with arrows and neon signs. But it's gotta make sense too. His character would not have said that. This season is unfortunately littered top to bottom with lazy mistakes like that.

But he's not really a detective. He's just some motorcycle cop thrown into the case because he found the body.

True, but how plausible is it that he's even capable of tying his shoes in the morning if he's that clueless? Are they portraying him as an idiot?

Hell, an 8 year old would be able to figure it out.

He's an ex-grunt, motorcycle cop..... Although his rank may say it, he's no detective.

Apparently it takes super-sleuth powers to know what circling buzzards mean.

It makes it even worse that when he insisted being "in the field".

And at the table he said "Detective Woodraugh" correcting the other guy.

Maybe thats just his insecurity of being a gay/shitty cop but Kitsch just sucks overall. Literally no need for him whatsoever.

Just have McAdams and Ferrell doing that search, way better chemistry etc. Makes no sense to keep interchanging Velcoro and Woodraugh with Bez.

well said; for all the "best episode" talk, it's receiving the least discussion of any episode this season on here. Folks have either bailed or are too bored to even comment at this point.

Not saying his story hasn't sucked thus far, but I'm assuming he will eventually play a vital role in the story, although time is running out.

It started out slow but I've enjoyed the last two episodes. This is probably the first thread all season that hasn't been completely over run by the "I hate this season and this show sucks....but I'm still watching and bitching" crowd. Not much to post about when you can't really discuss what's going on for all of that.

In this show carrion birds circle over shacks with blood on the floor. Unless they come up with bodies or body parts outside that shack then that was a BS scene.
