That was great, the latest episode is packed with good segments. The only thing that makes me cringe though is the American, the jokes are very forced and it just falls flat for me.

good looking car.
seems like the obvious choice for an awesome grand touring car

quote:Yep. The Excellent bit was funny and The Prepper segment was great, too.
Just started New episode. The NSX review by Slow is one of the most cinematically beautiful segments they've ever shot...just incredible.
I'm still sick of Celebrity Brain Crash. It's a waste of three minutes.
And couldn't they have found someone better than Mike Skinner to play the oafish American? Whether it's the script or his delivery it just isn't funny.

Bumping after Episode 10, hosted in Nashville.
Downvote away but I found this episode boring.
Celebrity Brain Crash still sucks.
The American (Mike Skinner) still sucks.
The artificial reef segment was meh.
And I can't be the only one here still watching it but it sure seems like I'm the one bumping the thread each week.

I've been on a Justified binge. I'll catch up with this once I'm done with Justified

This was the weakest episode yet IMO.
It didn't help that I was filled with immense sadness about not being at the filming

I just finished binge watching all 10 episodes between last night and today (S.O. is out of town) and there's definitely been some highs and lows.
The military segment had me rolling my eyes by the end of it, even though their banter does save it somewhat. The Namibia special had me wishing I could be there or do something like that myself, just like the Top Gear specials of old. The celebrity brain crash is wearing thin, although I understand what they were trying to accomplish since BBC essentially "banned" them from having any celebrity segments.
Regardless how you feel about some of the segments, the cars and cinematography alone are worth watching if you're a car nerd like me. I like when they "review" affordable everyday cars as much as the super and hypercars, I wish they'd do more of that. I actually went out and bought a Volvo S60R after they reviewed it in one of the early seasons of Top Gear and I had never imagined owning a Volvo before that.

Joke about not hearing Jennifer anymore had me rolling... I love that they openly throw punches and don't give a frick

I have a trip out west in a couple weeks. Planning to binge all of them but I do enjoy reading the reactions to each episode.

Bumping for Episode 11, which I enjoyed.
Same complaints as always.
Used Maserati segment was classic TG.

That was a good segment, poor James May. Broken arm, and a rubber johnson for a suicide knob.
Crazy how skinny those old streets can be

Solid episode. Hopefully they'll do more of these types of episodes going forward.

Bump for Episode 12, maybe the best one yet.

Man, I really want a Range Rover.
The wife wants an Audi Q5, but I might make her go test drive that Jaguar. Nice little SUV.

I'm so envious that these car companies just give them these rediculously nice cars and they drive they hell out of them. I mean James raced the Bentley on a dirt track.
Really enjoying the show so far. The Namibia special was amazing. The last few episodes have been excellent. I don't mind celebrity brain freeze, it's a big "f u" to the BBC, and I'm okay with that, always hated the celebrity part on Top Gear.
