The GT piece was greatness

I had know idea of the Ferrari/Ford story. It was a very well done piece, & judging Clarkson & Hammond's reactions to the film, they all realized how epic it was. Another very good episode, really glad the guys are back in form.

If I remember correctly old Top Gear did a similarly awesome mini doc just like it on Senna a few years back. I think clarkson was narrating it though... It was hauntingly great

The GT40 segment was outstanding, I knew some of the details of how the GT40 came about but didn't realize there were several unsuccessful versions prior to Ford's run of domination. I was really, really hoping they'd roll that segment into a look into the new Ford GT but the piece alone was fantastic.

The celebrity brain crash bit can go away, the point was received a few episodes ago. I'd imagine it'll be phased out eventually, or so I'd think.

For you guys that liked the Ford GT40 film, check out The 24 Hour War. It's a documentary from Adam Corolla about the whole fight between Ferrari and Ford.

At this point it almost feels like more of a segment for the audience who are in attendance, rather than the viewers.

Bump for this week's Namibia Special Part 1. Almost finished with it and it's been very enjoyable, feels just like the old Specials, w/ better cameras.

I just watched EP 2.

I thought this was supposed to be a car show? I don't want to watch them play army for 45 min.

Hasn't been a real car show in forever... and I don't care that it isn't. Those three have great chemistry and are entertaining as shite.

That had to be one of the most horrible drives ever. Short wheel base with no suspension over hundreds of miles.

Solid trip episode, but left me wanting more. Def one of their bottom tier specials.

It seems like in every other one, they are going off to accomplish something... Building the bridge or setting up a soccer match to ease relations. In this one, they were just going to go somewhere. They weren't going to accomplish anything.

Like I said, still a solid 2hrs of television... You could put those three on the screen discussing gardening and home remodeling and it would be better than 90% of everything else.

Just started New episode. The NSX review by Slow is one of the most cinematically beautiful segments they've ever shot...just incredible.

"The Excellent" segment was the funniest thing I've seen on the show so far...absolute classic shite.
