re: Formula 1 fans: Bernie Ecclestone is out - BlueWaffleHouse
Good, now bring back screaming V10s, big tires, and more passing! ... I know that these turbo cars are setting record laps, but they have lost that 'excitement' factor... Gotta give Bernie credit for his former years though. The Documentary "1" shows Bernie in his heyday and he really was the ins...

re: ESPN as a whole is it in decline? - BlueWaffleHouse
I'm thinking about cutting the cord and using a family members login for watchespn
I did this. I use my parent's login, I give them access to my Hulu & Netflix passwords... ESPN used to be every guy's go to "background noise" channel, b/c they showed sports highlights almost all...

re: What are the best breed of dogs to get? - BlueWaffleHouse
The Terv is a charmer, noted for his intelligence, elegance, alertness, and sense of humor. He stands his ground in the face of strangers, sure of his ability to protect his people and property. With his own family, he's affectionate and demanding of their time and attention. This is a dog wh...

re: NFC Playoffs game thread- Packers 34 @ Cowboys 31 FINAL! Packers WIN! Boys Choke - BlueWaffleHouse
Exactly, I was screaming free kick free kick @ the tv. I'd say any NFL kicker with a tee'd up ball, no rush and unlimited run up, could make the kick from 75 and in, plus if they were worried about a return, you have your best 10 tacklers out there just in case.... Idk why they declined the oppor...

re: Ryan Reynolds: Criminal vs Self/Less (New on HBO) - BlueWaffleHouse
It stormed all NYE weekend and I couldn't sleep, so for some reason, I watched both of these. It's "Criminal" that Reynolds was even on the cover of that movie. He's in it for 5 mins, maybe less. Self/Less was like watching a B movie bad... ...

re: Carl Edwards to retire immediately - BlueWaffleHouse
Totally unexpected. Wonder if it is a health issue or something else? He is notoriously a very private person, so there could have been something going on that wasn't public knowledge.
I don't think its a health issue. I told my dad earlier in the year, that someone would be leavi...

re: 7 biggest stadiums in the world - BlueWaffleHouse
Maracana in Rio is at about the same after 2010-2013 renovations.
I was wondering why this wasn't on the list, but after looking it up, the renovations for the previous world cup brought it down to 77k. (Back in 1954 they crammed 184,000 people in it for a match b/t Brazil & Para...

re: A stolen U-haul and stolen skylift used to steal a banks ATM - BlueWaffleHouse
You would think an ATM would have some Fail safe, like a 'large force' would trigger a mechanism that released dye packs onto the money or something along those lines. Ironic that I just finished watching the movie Hell or High Water (about 2 bank robbers), and have been looking up things to do i...
Ticket reseller. Very nice money if you know what you're doing.
This is a good one, I've done it a few times and made a decent amount of profit each time. Key is to research what's 'hot' & has limited supply. Congress just passed a law making ticket Bots illegal I think, don'...

re: Recommendation on a Corgi breeder? - BlueWaffleHouse
The adoption police have really brought the cavalry hard today on their high horses! If only they'd focus that 'outrage' towards the people that neglect, abandon, & discard, their pets in the first place ........

He's getting better by the day, zero pain, and bearing more weight each day. I don't think he ruptured the tendon, more a sprain probably. Friday he was a helpless tripod though. You could've tipped him over very easily! ha. ...

re: Rogue One was Good and Worth Making (spoils) - BlueWaffleHouse
I can see that about the characters. I read that when Disney execs saw the original final cut they made them reshoot a bunch of stuff & change the score to not make it so dark. But the product we all saw was still very dark and gritty, and I think that's what people like so much about the movie....

re: Rogue One was Good and Worth Making (spoils) - BlueWaffleHouse
Every Star Wars movie so far has focused on a few families that are 'royalty' in the universe, and shown the war through their eyes. Rogue One focused on the peons in the war & showed the level of sacrifice and work these people went through to collectively accomplish something major, making the...
