Requiem for a dream is hard to beat in this category. It was pretty crazy.

Irreversible.
The only movie I've ever almost walked out of...and it was excellent. It was just that hard to get through. I'm very glad I saw it and I think it was an achievement in movie making, but I never want to see it again.

Eden Lake is another that was disturbing cuz it seemed very possible that it could happen. Jacobs Ladder is another movie I cant watch again.

If you see An American Crime...it will be on your list.
This is the HORRIFIC true story of a suburban housewife who kept a teenage girl locked in the basement of her Indiana home during the 1960s.
She made her eat her own feces and she would go down there everyday and burn her with matches and cigarettes and beat her. She even carved "I am a prostitute and proud of it" into her stomach.
2 time academy award nominee Catherine Kenner plays the abusive woman and does an incredible job but I can promise you she plays one of the most hated characters you will ever see. Being a true life character makes it even worse.
