The Holy Mountain
if you haven't seen it do yourself a favor and watch it. it's the most disturbing, complex and unusual film i've ever seen.
quote:
The film is based on "Ascent of Mount Carmel" by St. John of the Cross and "Mount Analogue: A Novel of Symbolically Authentic Non-Euclidean Adventures in Mountain Climbing" by Rene Daumal, a student of G.I. Gurdjieff. In particular, much of Jodorowsky's visually psychedelic story follows the metaphysical thrust of "Mount Analogue" such as the climb to the Alchemist, the assembly of individuals with specific skills, the discovery of the mountain that unites Heaven and Earth "that cannot not exist" and symbolic challenges along the mountain ascent. Daumal died before finishing his allegorical novel, and Jodorowsky's improvised ending provides a clever way of completing the Work (symbolic and otherwise.)

The Human Centipede (First Sequence) is a 2010 horror film starring Ashley C. Williams, Ashlynn Yennie, Akihiro Kitamura and Dieter Laser, directed by Tom Six.[1] It tells the story of a crazed doctor who surgically joins three victims together, mouth to anus, to create a "human centipede". The film has won several awards at international horror film festivals, but has received mixed reviews from critics.
OH GOD.
OH GOD.

No wonder this is a disturbing movie. That mountain is anally raping that chick.

Does that movie poster violate the "no hand bra" rule?

Irreversible.
The fire extinguisher scene and the rape scene are enough to put the movie on any list of most disturbing movies.

I saw this on the wikipedia page for the movie.

When Katsuro has to defecate, Lindsay is forced to swallow his excrement and the doctor watches with great delight.
I bet the doctor is a huge fan of two girls one cup.

But whoever gets to be lead/front doesn't really have it that bad.

I'm beginning to wonder if it makes me a sick person because I go and watch movies that are listed in threads like this? If it's a book or a movie that causes controversy then I usually check it out. I read American Psycho because of all the controversy surrounding it and I usually do the same thing for movies.

Human Centipede looks to be very interesting.
Salo was just disgusting. Irreversible was good.

How does one in Baton Rouge watch The Human Centipede?

No one is picking "The Last House on the Left" here? Come on... The rape scene was pretty disturbing
Yes, but overall, the movie was a fail. Creepy at times...and the ending, as crazy and bizarre as it was, sort of was out of left field. I suppose the film was directed by someone who had a daughter who was once raped bc any true gory and unapologetic director would have had the bad guys winning big. Jessie Pinkman 's character's demise wasn't even satisfying.

I don't know, but it has been in my Netflix queue for months. They are planning on filming a trilogy.

I would love to see how many people would get up and leave this in the theater.

Only thing I remember from Requiem is Marlon freaking out and Jennifer Connely's nakedness.
Irreversible(for the rape scene alone)
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas(the final scene)
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
