what a terrible way to prove your point. this is the writers having holly make fun of Kevin, not Kevin being a good character.

I think Character Assassination Andy is worse than any character at any time on the show.

Nelly aside, the boom guy. I forgive the writers for tacking a lot of crap on considering what they had to deal with in the last couple seasons, but that was especially craptackular.

Meredith?

Really, she was easily one of the best characters. Everything she did was hilarious

Yeah Pam after she got engaged sucked balls. She seemed always pissed off. The early Pam was great.

Least favorite: Nellie. And it's not even close.

Most meh: Meredith.

IMO, Gabe finally proved himself with this LINK

ETA: Forgot about Robert California. He definitely sucked as well as the Boom Guy. But Boom Guy was more a product of an insanely horrible, bad story idea.

I can't believe that no one has mentioned the 2 most obvious. Phyllis Vance and Stanley Hudson.
I can't think of a single episode where either character added a thing. Nothing!

Kevin had a lot of great scenes. The episode when he brings the giant pot of chili to work, or when they think the buildings on fire - Michael breaks a window, and Kevin breaks the glass out of the vending machine.

He also had a number of subtle looks at the camera. Holly bring candy from Nashua, but ate some on the drive over. The look Kevin gives the camera Kevin's parts were either silly or subtle with not much in between like asking the ugly girl if she was "on email" and then making out with her in the café disco.

Another character that added absolutely nothing to the show other than being Pam's fiancé was Roy.
There was no reason for his character other than to be responsible for Jim having to wait a few seasons to hook up with Pam.

Gabe, Robert California, and Nellie, although final season Nellie was tolerable compared the season eight Nellie.

1) The British Woman (Nellie?)
2) The camera crew guy they showed on camera after Pam and Jim fought
3) Gabe
4) Married Pam (Even though she was still kind of a count before)

This.

She was terrible.

I also think Michael Scott started to get pretty terrible by the end of his run. He was such a caricature of the original character that it was taking away.

How could anyone hate Kevin with classics like this:

Kevin: Every time you buy a Big Mac you set one ingredient aside. Then at the end of the week you have a free Big Mac. And you love it even more because you made it with your own hands.

Kevin was an idiot but he made me laugh.

I didn't like Gabe or Nellie.

They both suck for sure, but let's not forget "DID I STUTTA?!?"

If I have to pick a single least favorite, it'd prolly be Nellie. But I'd like to make it a tie and I'll also go with De'Angelo Vickers (Will Farrell). He was just terrible from start to finish.

Other terrible ones:
Stanley
Phyllis
Meredith
Gabe (though I loved how terrible he was)
Erin
Late-seasons Andy
Kelly
Patrice O'Neal
Post-promotion Darryl

But the point of the show was that all of those characters were usually pretty solid when they were in very small doses here and there. I remember the one episode where it was basically all Stanley and he sucked arse in it. Most of those people were like that. Sometimes it would bug me when they'd try to get too much Creed going...his character is someone who is awesome when he just has one or two lines per episode.
