Based on all of the lists in this thread, it looks like the title became a prophecy and everyone forgot Sarah Marshal.

I would put that one head and shoulders over Hangover.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall and I Love You Man are both great additions. And I'd watch either over the hangover (and I do like the hangover)

In that same vein, I think that Role Models is really good.

Role models, superbad were great.

Don't forget about we're the millers....

Those three were way better than hangover.

went to a packed house viewing of Borat and the whole place was rolling.

Same with me. Packed Elmwood theater, no one left early and the laughter was constant. My face ached from laughing so much.

Here's a movie I don't get the love for. I actually just flat do not like it. Perhaps it's too Ben Stiller-y. I don't know. It's funny, but it doesn't make me laugh anymore like the Big Lebowski does, or Tropic Thunder or Harold and Kumar.

Yeah. Kinda like Zoolander. Not funny now and probably never as funny as we all thought.

My vote is for Superbad.
The Hangover was just not funny to me. It's like the Dane Cook of comedy movies.

We're the Millers had Jennifer Anniston doing the sexiest shite she has ever done in a movie, so that gets a huge up vote from me on a non comedic note. Even if the movie was terrible, I'd watch the whole thing for that scene.

Borat was by far the most laughter I've ever heard in a theater.

For me it was South Park: Bigger Longer Uncut.

That hit just at the right time. The theater we were in, opening weekend, was the loudest laughing theater I'd ever heard.

The Hangover is one of my favorite movies. I've literally seen the trilogy so much I can quote word for word

Of the last 20 years. . .

1. MacGruber
2. Stepbrothers
3. 21 Jump Street
4. Hangover
5. Anchorman

I didn't laugh at the 1st Hangover until Ken Jeong sprang from the trunk. After that, it was really funny.

It's not the best comedy in the last 20 years but for people to say it's not funny are lying. Saw it in the theater and everybody was laughing throughout the movie. The Hangover's problem is it wasn't as good the second time around and really doesn't hold up well.
Office Space, Super Troopers, Sarah Marshall and Big Lebowski are all infinitely better and are very good on second, third, etc viewings. Hell the 4 I listed maybe funnier the more you watch because you always catch something you missed

4 pages and nobody has mentioned Austin Powers. Did the sequels bring it down that far? Maybe the same thing has happened to the Hangover..

for the last 30 year its:

superbad
anchorman
dumb and dumber

each represents a different crew that ran the comedy scene at some point. these are the best movies to come from said comedy teams.
