Eurotrip destroys it.

And to add insult to the fight, the great cameo was in Eurotrip as well as the greatest Song.

Borat

Only move I ever walked out of.

I'm no prude but the gutter humor was insulting to my intelligence. People in the theater weren't even laughing.

Also, I like Napolean Dynamite better than the Hangover.

It's aged poorly IMO.

Compare that with The Other Guys, which has aged like a fine wine and is a god damn masterpiece.

I don't know about that, but I enjoyed it. I even liked the second one, which people on here didn't like because it was the same basic plot. I didn't really care, because it was funny.

The third one is pure shite, though.

Many that are listed are funnier and I would like to add both Horrible Bosses movies.

Didn't hate the Hangover but Talladega Nights, Galaxy Quest, Best In Show, Anchorman, Waiting For Guffman, Step Brothers, Wedding Crashers, even the Oceans films and animated like Madagascar, Over The Hedge, etc. were a lot funnier to me. I even laughed more at Guardians Of The Galaxy.

You sound like a prude and I don't believe you about the theater not laughing.

Borat was by far the most laughter I've ever heard in a theater.

One movie I never see mentioned is Daddy's Home. That was one of the funniest movies I saw in a while.

so so so underrated

comedy is temporal and it nailed the spoof genre of movies of my generation like no other spoof movie has

scott pilgrim is another one that divides people but is somewhat underrated

Oh Brother is up there for sure but I'd also put Tropic Thunder and The Interview over Hangover

Wow, not even close. You must be really young or you started watching comedies really late.

There's Something About Mary,

Here's a movie I don't get the love for. I actually just flat do not like it. Perhaps it's too Ben Stiller-y. I don't know. It's funny, but it doesn't make me laugh anymore like the Big Lebowski does, or Tropic Thunder or Harold and Kumar.

The 40 Year Old Virgin, Dumb and Dumber, Super Troopers, Dodgeball, Old School, Anchorman, are among many many many MANY movies funnier than The Hangover. The Hangover is an average movie. Kind of funny, but nothing special and one I will never watch over and over. For the OP to say The Hangover is the funniest in 20 years is the stupidest fricking statement I've ever seen.

I went to a packed house viewing of Borat and the whole place was rolling. Comedies are subjective and the crowd makes a big difference for making the movie more enjoyable.
