I like it, but it's not even close to being the funniest ever. I was just watching Old School, I'll take that over The Hangover any day of the week.

No.
Anchorman and 40-Year Old Virgin are better choices for overall funniest, and last 20 years? American Pie, There's Something About Mary, Big Lebowski, Harold and Kumar, Wedding Crashers, Hot Fuzz, etc. All better.
Not to mention Walk Hard, Tropic Thunder. The list goes on and on. Top 30 maybe is fair. And Old School is probably a better overall middle aged guys comedy.

Over half the movies you listed are over 20 years old.
I would give "The Other Guys" a tie.
Kingpin is probably funnier, but it is well over 20 years old, so is Dumb and Dumber.
Tommy Boy isn't even in the running, with its sophomoric humor (plus it's over 20 years old)

I purposely haven't watched this movie since around 2010.
When I watch it again in about three years I want it to be just as funny as it was when I first saw it.

I will admit, Superbad has some great scenes, period blood, singing with the stoners, McLovin's knockout, but the movie had some lulls (IMO). Every scene in "The Hangover" is like a mini comedy in themselves.

I actually didn't love it. Much prefer Dewey Cox, Old School, Stepbrothers, Borat, Lebowski.
