I would put Old School, Team America, Dodgeball, Tropic Thunder, Juno, Talledega Nights, Zombieland, love actually, super troopers, o brother where art thou, Harold and Kumar 1 and 2, Grandma's Boy, 40 Year Old Virgin, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Superbad, Wedding Crashers, Office Space, Big Lebowski, Happy Gilmore, South Park Bigger Longer and uncut, Men in Black, Big Daddy and As Good As it Gets all ahead of the Hangover and would say I could make a case it's about on par with Half Baked.

And I think the Hangover is hilarious

I was liking your list until I read...

I have never found Adam Sandler funny. I put that movie up there with Caddy Shack 2

Over half the movies you listed are over 20 years old.

Not really.

There isn't a movie listed before 1994.

So it's a few years - is that really the gripe? You're basically making a statement for an entire generation of moviegoers - and then you say all-time?

So 90's movies that are before 1997 matter.

20 years is 20 years. I use to feel Dumb and Dumber was the funniest and is still in my top 5. Kingpin is funniest movie of the 90's

Superbad and 40 Year Old Virgin are infinitely more funny than the Hangover.

Those are 2 movies that are true comedy classics.

Hell, I think Superbad should be in serious contention for best comedy of the 21st century so far.

The Hangover 2 was way, WAY funnier than the original IMO.

I think the best part of the Hangover is actually the part before they get hungover.

The Hangover was funny the first time you watch it. It doesn't hold up as well under repeated viewings, since many jokes relied on the shock value or reveals. Not a bad thing, but I have more than a few over it.

Take out McLovin and the rest of the movie is average at best.

It has its moments but not enough jokes and some that fall flat. There's Something About Mary, Austin Powers ('97), Office Space, Big Lebowski, Borat (screw you Borat haters on this board)....all beat it. So good argument for 6th best in last 20 years, which is kind of sad.
