Anyone know if the finale will only be an hour or will it be longer?

Anyone else think Carrie dies?
There's no direction for her character to go from this point. She's not coming back to the CIA after her past and they won't do another season with her as a citizen who just so happens to be connected to a foreign terrorist plot. I think she dies saving the train station and the show goes on with Quinn and Saul

Why does Allison lie about where the attack is going to take place?

On phone before she shot herself.
It was a 515pm Train if I'm not mistaken.

Would be the best thing to happen for the show.
But seeing that Claire Danes is an executive producer of the show, I can't imagine them killing her off.
As for the finale, my big hope is that Allison kills the American Attorney and then gets taken hostage by the T cell and used as a sex slave for eternity. Oh, and Carrie gets run over by a train down in the subway tunnel and never found. Win. Win. Win.

Carrie has not been bad this season. She was worse in each of the past 4 seasons.

Must of missed that, thanks

I feel like the American reporter is basically the shows version of Edward Snowden.
I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be Laura Poitras, the journalist/filmmaker that made the Snowden documentary Citizenfour. First off, both their names are Laura. Then Laura Poitras lives in Berlin.
From her Wiki:
quote:
Laura Poitras is an Academy Award-winning American documentary film director and producer residing in Berlin.
quote:
Poitras has been subject to monitoring by the U.S. Government, which she speculates is because of a wire transfer she sent in 2006 to Riyadh al-Adhadh, the Iraqi medical doctor and Sunni political candidate who was the subject of her 2006 documentary My Country, My Country. After completing My Country, My Country, Poitras claims, "I've been placed on the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) watch list" and have been notified by airport security "that my 'threat rating' was the highest the Department of Homeland Security assigns". She says her work has been hampered by constant harassment by border agents during more than three dozen border crossings into and out of the United States. She has been detained for hours and interrogated and agents have seized her computer, cell phone and reporters notes and not returned them for weeks. Once she was threatened with being refused entry back into the United States. In response to a Glenn Greenwald article about this, a group of film directors started a petition to protest the government's actions against her. In April 2012 Poitras was interviewed about surveillance on Democracy Now! and called elected leaders' behavior "shameful.
She lives in Berlin to avoid US government harassment.

Is it just me or is Quinn an awful character? Maybe i'm being too cynical, but I just don't like his acting.
Otherwise I like this season a lot.

Interesting. I didn't know anything about Laura Poitras. Thanks for posting. I agree seems like a similar person.

I thought this was going to be the final season. Is that wrong?

Well, I'm glad to see I was wrong. They just renewed it for a sixth season. That's fricking awesome. I really want to know what happened to these characters after all this. Although the end of tonight's episode would have been an o.k. end to the series for me if that had been the case.

This season was great, but the finale left me disinterested about next season.
They could have ended the series, but I guess the ratings were too high to turn it down.

They should have killed the show in a perfect world.
Will find out if Carrie goes to Auto and rules the earth or basically runs her own outfit at the CIA? She just got all the Quinn money so it's probably on with her kid which sucks for the next season because they will pull her into action again just like Season 5. I see a similar storyline coming so let's hope she chooses the CIA or Auto.
Also, it would have ruined the entire show if Quinn survived a mustered gas cloud for 5 min? He had to die after that geez.

After last night, i thought for sure it'd be the last season. I'm not sure where they go from here. Quinn was a staple of the last 2 seasons and kept it interesting.
If they do the "Carrie's at home rebuilding her home life but let's pull her back into it" bit, it'll just be stale. Almost seems like they'll have to introduce new characters and but keep a couple like Saul and Dar.
I did like the Sopranos touch in the finale.

I'm not so sure Quinn is gone yet. He may be, but it's not definite. Carrie definitely was going to "pull the plug", but she hesitated and the scene went to black.
We'll see. Quinn was still a day or two away from the situation where the chances of regaining cognitive function was close to zero. Like I said elsewhere, maybe Rupert Friend and the producers are renegotiating his contract.
