I think that’ll be Ezra. We may not get Thrawn tonight, but I don’t think he’ll be the big cliffhanger reveal at the end, considering we saw him in live action and heard his voice in the trailer. We all know he’s coming, so that’d be a lame surprise.

Morgan and co. and Ahsoka are on their way to Thrawn/Ezra, so there’s not much left to do. I think some Sabine-Baylan scenes could be cool and I believe there’s at least 1 more scene with Anakin, so maybe a dream sequence or meditation deal with Ahsoka.
But I think we see 1 or both of Thrawn and Ezra tonight, even if it’s at the end.

Just realized when he “said final seconds” he was likely talking about tonight’s episode, which yeah, that could be possible.
I interpreted “final seconds” as final seconds of the last episode of the season… my bad

I think they stretch out the search a bit longer. Wouldn’t mind seeing some locations in the new galaxy.

Definitely a slow burn to set up the final two eps but very good. Few questions:
1. So this "galaxy" is essentially one dead planet? Or is it simply one not near as advanced as the one we are used to?
2. Thrawn knows the Empire has fallen, correct? Is his plan to simply go back and start a version of the First Order albeit a better one?
3. Thrawn knows who Ahsoka is but doesn't know she was Anakins padawan?

Balen is the best character. Sucks Ray Stevenson died unless his arc ends at end of this season.

I think Thrawn sets someone up as Heir To the Empire thusly The First Order and leaves for The Ascendancy.

Morgan could have clued him in to Ahsoka. I’m sure he wanted a full briefing on their travels. He doesn’t necessarily know who she is though.

If only Filoni would be given the keys and he says frick it, we are doing thrawn trilogy. He could weave in Rebels characters, Mando, etc. He could have Sebastian Stan play Luke. And just ignore the shitty new trilogy.

Thrawn is clearly using the witches to gain information so he should know the empire has fallen.
I don’t think he ever came across Ahsoka in Rebels, he may not know who she is since she kept a very low profile until the end of the series.

He knew Vader and knew he was Anakin. Odd he didn't know ahsoka.
