Just finished tonight’s episode, and it was great. Besides the space turtles, everything else was fantastic.

Glad to see the Thrawn voice actor can actually act. So awesome to see Ezra too. I can’t wait for these last two episodes.

Agreed. Another VERY good episode.

I like how they're taking time to truly flesh out at least some of the antagonists. That can easily be lost in shows with a main character, but Balen's arc has been especially intriguing.

Two homeruns in a row after a slew of good episodes. Filoni should have been given control over the movies as well; if he had, Star Wars would probably be the biggest brand in movies right now.

They all looked cool except for Enoch, who looked like a fricking transformer with the face.

His helmet reminded me of the guy Maximus fought in the Roman coliseum in gladiator. The guy with the chrome helmet.

I wonder if they will explain what Baylen was up to during the empire days

Dude the Noti, especially the kids, were awesome.

Great episode, I never thought we would get a Thrawn and Ezra reveal in the same episode.

I am curious how they are going to write them off since it’s becoming clear that they have nothing to with the first order.

I mean how do we know they have nothing do with the First Order. On the timeline there is also 25 years between this show and TFA so I’m pretty sure Filoni can do whatever the frick he wants with these characters / storyline.

Because Baylon has made it abundantly clear he has no interest in starting a copy f the old empire which is exactly what the First Order was.

He’s also searching for some great power that ran off the witches of dathomir from this galaxy. The first order had no such thing, just a planet with a big arse cannon in it

And the Imperial Remnants that became the First Order never left the galaxy. They just hid out in the Unknown Regions.

Star whales opening scene was pretty trippy.

Incredible lighting, as the the source that they traveled through was behind, in front, and on all sides of them. Great detail.

Enoch reminded me of Man E Faces.

I loved how he told Sabine ‘Die Well’ on her departure. It was a very fitting farewell for a Jedi.

Seems absolutely perfect for a Tales of the Jedi episode(s)

They have a golden opportunity to retcon the sequel trilogy. I really don't care how they do it either.

But they won't. Because Rey is Female and the Force is Female

Yeah they won’t. They should, but they won’t. Too many feelings to be hurt.

did not expect to see Ezra this quickly, but it was great to see him.

Very curious as to what Baylen is seeking on this planet. Maybe this planet is the beginning or key to the force and he wants to destroy it, and get rid of the force altogether.

I really liked the stormtroopers. They had a very Japanese feel. It looked liked they fixed their suits with gold which is called Kintsugi.

Episode was boring. 95% filler. Sabine's character has really become a bit annoying at this point, she has shown little growth. She got ran through with a lightsaber, you would think there would be some reflection and humility on her part. Please the whole I am trying to use the force and failing each time except for the last episode where I will connect and be a as strong as any jedi knight will be a boring predictable outcome.

This whole rumor of destroying the force is about the dumbest thing I have heard. They are trying to turn Star Wars into the space CW.

This is a long shot, but I think maybe he's searching for Bendu just not knowing that's who or what he is looking for?

In rebels, Bendu claims to be the center of the force. Maybe that's what Baylen meant by "find the beginning" or whatever line was used.

I kinda felt like bendu has been coming all season for some reason. Would be cool to see.

It's a stretch, but....

What if the journey to another galaxy takes more time than they realize (Like how in the movie Interstellar, he's gone for a few months, but because of time-space/science, it ends up being decades)

So is it possible, that Thrawn does arrive, but arrives after the events of the crap sequel trilogy?

I doubt Kennedy/Disney would allow it, but it's a thought.

They really painted themselves into a corner with Rey storyline. It appears dumb to have jumped the timeline that far forward, especially with what is unfolding now.

The Mando and Ahsoka stories are really giving fans what they wanted and Filoni nailed it with this last episode. This episode really brought it back full circle to 1977. The original trilogy was supposed to be a tale we were hearing from "a long time ago in a galaxy far far away", yet they have their own. There is so much they can build off of, they need to figure out out make the last 3 theatrical movies go irrelevant. They can exist, just they are not a center piece. Let the numbering die, no Episode X. Something new. There is more to Star Wars than Skywalkers and Palpatines.

The Thrawn intro was one of the best in Star Wars ever.

100% my very first thought. This must be done.

If you haven’t watched the Tales of the Jedi series, do yourself a favor and check it out. It’s short episodes, you can breeze through them.
