I'm truly in awe of Duncan. He may be second best player of all time when you consider how long he's done this.

It really is amazing. No kidding, it seems like every game he breaks some record or passes someone on some all-time list. It's ridiculous

Duncan is the best player in the league since Michael Jordan. He's a top five player ever.

Top 5 easily and I am really starting to wonder if he's now behind Jordan only.

He's prob top 10 but no way he's in the top 5. Would you really put Duncan above guys like Shaq, Olajuwon, Abdul-Jabbar? No No No

But this isn't a prime Shaq vs. Duncan discussion, it is about their entire careers.

I get that, but I think players primes should be considered. Just my opinion. Of course, Duncan is a tremendous player who is easily top 10 of all time.

Olajuwon was the better defender. We're talking the all time shot blocks leader. When you look at the offensive numbers they all favor dream too.

Fg%. Ft%. Points per game They both avg 11.1 Rebs.

Olajuwon has the big advantage at blocks and steals.

Thought you keep saying blocks and steals don't define "defense" when you talk about AD

I agree, but Duncan is obviously no slouch in that discussion either.

Boom is a big fan of cherry picking different stats to make him look right.

A wee bit of difference in one year worth of data compared to the greatest in the history of the game.

Duncan has over 100 more games played, yet Dream has over 900 more blocks.
