No. Definitely not. But from 1999-2003, shaq had PERs of 30.6, 30.6, 30.2, 29.7, and 29.5. Not to mention win shares of 9, 18.6, 14.9, 13.2, 13.2. That's pretty crazy

Yea I'd take Shaq over Duncan too. People are putting a little too much weight on Duncans longevity which is really only a couple years longer than O'Neal and Dreams. And Dreams and Shaq's peak both are better than Duncans, Shaq's was easily better..

Meh, they weren't in the league at the same time so it's not an apples to apples comparison.
Olajuwon lead the league in defensive rating for 5 straight years.

Comparing Duncan to Hakeem:

Duncan: 5x Champion, 2x MVP, 3x Finals MVP, 15x All-Star, 10x All-NBA First Team, 8x All-Defensive First Team

Hakeem: 2x Champion, 1x MVP, 2x Finals MVP, 12x All-Star, 6x All-NBA First Team, 5x All-Defensive First Team

For those subjective awards, you've got to take into consideration that Olajuwon played in an era when his position was by far the strongest it ever was in the history of the league.. And he still lead the league in defensive rating for 5 straight years.
