We suck, ok?

Won the title last year, and clearly give less of a frick this year. Plus, we're finally "old."

Except for Old Man Riverwalk. He balls every night cuz he's a cyborg.

Pretty much

Nah, I mean I hope I'm wrong, but I said before the season and all season long that I don't think we'll come out of the West a third straight year. Just don't see it--only reason we won back to back Western titles was because they had some otherworldly motivation last year after coming up short in '13. This year, I didn't think they'd have that edge, and while injuries haven't helped, I also just haven't seen that edge that they had night in and night out for the most part last season.

Again, I hope I'm wrong, but yeah, I'm not thinking we'll repeat. Something we're used to as Spurs fans, as some AggyArk posters so helpfully pointed out

The Rockets are going to mushroom stamp the Mavs in the first round. It will be glorious.

I wish the Pels weren't made of glass and could somehow get in the playoffs and beat the rockets arse. But, we'll be watching the playoffs per usual.

Nah, you need to let 'em hang around. Giving hope to an in-state rival is sporting and leads to Larrys

till dealing with the injury or classic case of a player becoming overrated based off of an exceptional playoff performance?

That hand injury of his is apparently pretty unique.

The doctor working on it said he hadn't seen an injury quite like it in over 50 years or something like that.

It's definitely a concern.

Last year they were super focused on revenge against Miami. The "hunger" is just not there this year. IMO the Spurs are about done as far as championships..

Plenty of teams have been hit hard with the injury bug in regards to top players. Its not just the Pelicans.

Charlotte
Brooklyn
Milwaukee
Indiana
Toronto
San Antonio
OKC
Houston
etc.

Even at full strength the Pelicans wouldn't have made the playoffs this year. Maybe next year, but I'm not seeing who they can jump tbh. Maybe the Spurs if Duncan retires... I'd love to be able to watch Rockets playoff games in NOLA.
