Look at these players:

Ed Reed
Clinton Portis
Ken Dorsey
Andre Johnson
Bryant McKinnie
Jeremy Shockey
Jon Vilma
Jerome McDougle
Phillip Buchanon
Kellen Winslow
Sean Taylor
Antrelle Rolle
Vince Wilfork
D.J. Williams
Frank Gore
Willis McGahee
Najeh Davenport

I didn't realize all these players were on that same 2001 team.

1995 Nebraska although their accomplishments should have an asterisk due to their rampant PED use.

2011 LSU team still has the best resume outside of losing the last game.

The 03-06 Trojans were better team but the individual talent for the Hurricanes was better.

Always seems like the U, those Nebraska, and USC teams are the main ones brought up in these threads. I will say the best college offense I think I've ever seen is 1994 PSU. I'm sure if you focus on defense there are a few Bama squads. 1991 Washington was ridiculous overall.

I agree. Everyone got enamored with 01 Miami when their players did well in the pros. No one was calling them the GOAT during that season.

I say yes, but lots of people will tell you 95 Nebraska. I was too young to really remember that Nebraska team though. I would argue that 2011 LSU is the best team to not win a title. They were blowing teams out that were highly ranked all year.

Meh, the QB position was too weak. Your 06 team was better, IMO.

If you consider coaching to be a big part of what makes a great all time team, then no.

2001 Miami was the most talented. 1995 Nebraska was the best and most dominant on the field. That team beat the hell out of everyone who lined up across from them.

The offense was better, but not the defense and special teams.

Agreed.

It's crazy to think that 9 of their 14 games were against ranked teams. They beat two BCS conference champions in Oregon and West Virginia.

They also played and beat #2, #3, #12 and #16 all away from Baton Rouge and won.
