Both of these teams just seem so damn deep. Even though 3 of the 4 games haven't really been close, this is some damn fun basketball to watch. I don't do much NBA watching during the regular season except turn on Sportscenter a few minutes a week. Or I'll try to watch a few minutes of the Warriors, Cavs, Spurs, Thunder when I know they're on. May watch a quarter. But NBA playoff basketball is must see tv after the 1st round. It's fan fricking tastic.

GS is REALLY deep with a versatile selection of players who can play multiple positions and handle the ball

OKC isn't that deep. westbrook, roberson, durant, ibaka, adams starting and then kanter, waiters, and foye

it's just an 8-man rotation and donnovan is really mixing up KD and Mr. Westbrook by staggering their minutes to play plenty with the backups. they don't even play morrow, who is a really good shooter and floor spacer. donnovan is just doing a good job of building the 5-man team on the floor

waiters showing up has been YUGE. they need that 3rd scorers with the various lineups. OKC has historically had major issues incorporating that 3rd creator with KD/Russ and since they went supernova against the Spurs, Waiters has been doing OK in that role

i can't make that call

he has definitely found something that works and kerr has yet to adjust

a lot of it is just due to the effort of hte players though. they want it more and are busting arse

i can't give billy D that credick

I've never seen this kind of effort from the Thunder. It's usually Westbrook going 110mph and everyone else playing normal. Everyone is on his level.

Waiters is playing legit defense. WTF. Ibaka has been a force on both sides of the ball.

With ya here. I give him credit on the rotations and how he's handling minutes. And he calls insta-timeouts when he feels GS getting in their rhythm.

sounds cliché, but this is truly the case. Literally every 50-50 ball went to the thunder. Some may call it lucky break, but it's the effort.
And their defense has been pretty ridiculous, that was definitely not the case in the regular season.

Yeah it almost pains me to type that typically generic cliche crap, but it's true. It's really showing on D and on the boards. Then they're off at 100 mph (do give coaching credit here) attacking like the dogs of hell. GSW are making it look worse by being lethargic when they have to work and their cute shite starts to fail.

I think a big part of it too is that GS is just plain exhausted. At least that's how they look a lot of times, especially late in games.

It's because OKC is making them work super hard on offense and defense. And it shows.

I'm not going to bother you anymore about this. At least you were a man and never ducked out.

Warriors are a damn good team. They just are running into a more physically talented team that's putting everything together at just the right time.

The Warriors would beat the doors off of the Cavs going small because Love becomes unplayable.
I think it was Lowe who has a recent article about badly Toronto is abusing the Irving/Love defensive combo.

They are roughing them up down low as well and their bigs are camped out in Draymond's head. Klay Thompson is tentaive too which isn't bad for OKC.
