Best -Sammy Baugh or Sonny Jurgensen, Theismann could have been the Redskins GOAT until LT killed him.

Worst- How much time do you have.

You modern day Cowboys fans need to go back and look at what Babe Laufenberg did week 16 vs. The Falcons with the playoffs on the line and get back to me

Tom Tupa is an interesting case for the Cardinals. He sucked so bad, he became a punter.

Tupa was drafted as a QB/P. He was the same at tOSU.

ETA:

I believe he was an All-American Punter at tOSU his senior year. I know he only started one year at QB for them.

Well we agree on something.

I just understand people who think the entirety of a team's history begins when they started watching. I mean, Quincy Carter and Drew Henson don't have much on Eddie LeBaron, but I give him a pass because they were an expansion team (even though I don't think it's coincidence that Tom Landry's offenses improved dramatically the moment he benched LeBaron and started Don Meredith).

True. He eventually relinquished QB duties in the NFL though and focused on punting.

I don't think you need much time to name Heath Shuler.

But in the 50s there was some guy named Ralph Guglielmi who 4-13-3 as a starter with an under 50 completion percentage, and 17/40 TD/INT.

Tim Hasselbeck, John Beck, Rex Grossman and Jeff George are in the conversation too.

FAIL

Elway has more Super Bowl appearances with the Broncos than Peyton Manning has seasons with the Broncos.

Tim Tebow won a playoff game. He is disqualified. The correct answer is a too young, not ready for the NFL Tommy Maddox.

(I don't count the Doug Pederson's of the world that were backups by design that got thrown into starting roles because of injury.)

This one is so hard. Marino was no doubt the best, but they've had some terrible starters since:

Cleo Lemon
A.J. Feeley
Chad Henne

Hell, Jay Fiedler is a top-3 quarterback for the franchise.

I'm surprised to say that he did not start any games in 1999. He started 4 in 1998 for Elway, but none after he retired.

And Griese wasn't so bad, the whole team just went to shite. He was better than Tebow, but apparently I'm not allowed to say Tebow because he was on a team that won a playoff game.

The real answer for worst starting QB in Broncos history is Danny Kanell, but I'm sticking with Tebow just because Kanell was never supposed to be a starter in Denver.

Yes

Kitna and Hutchinson give Laufenberg a run. As would Stephen McGee, but it's Laufenberg without question.

But those guys were backups so I don't expect them to do much. For me, the worst was Quincy Carter.
