You must have missed that thanksgiving game in 06 I believe. That was the worst performance I've ever seen from a Cowboys starter.

Quincy wasn't great by any means, but he wasn't Drew Henson bad.

Drew is the obvious best

Aaron Brooks probably wasn't the worst, but I hated him the most.

'91 Redskins???? They were a very good team but not even top 5.

I would totally debate that. The 91 Redskins were a machine. The last of the super teams that can't exist anymore due to the salary cap. The team had no weaknesses. It was deep and super talented. The team only lost two games all season. One was a game of the ages against Dallas, that they lost by 3. The other was the last game of the season against the Eagles, where they sat all their starters. The Eagles still had to score 17 in the 4th quarter to win the game 24-22. Then they beat all 3 teams they faced in the playoffs by double digits (combined scores 102-41). That's just domination.

Here is a quote about the team..

"Statistics site Football Outsiders has ranked the 1991 Redskins as the greatest team in their ratings history,[9] stating that the team "may have been the most well-rounded team in NFL history. [...] A lot of the best teams in NFL history got a little extra boost by picking on an easy schedule, but not Washington. They had an average schedule, and a harder-than-average schedule of opposing defenses."

and another..

"In 2007, ESPN.com ranked the 1991 Redskins as the 4th greatest team in NFL history,[8] noting, "you can look at two stats to get a pretty good idea of just how great a team is: yards gained per pass attempt, and yards allowed per pass attempt. The 1991 'Skins topped the NFL in each category, with Mark Rypien averaging 8.5 yards per attempt, while his colleagues on Washington's defense allowed only 6 yards per attempt.... The 'Skins outscored their opponents 485–224, and they had a tough schedule. After going 14–2, they romped through the NFC playoffs, beating the Falcons 24–7 and demolishing the Lions 41–10 on their way to the Super Bowl. In the Big Game, the 'Skins beat the cursed early-1990s Bills 37–24.""

I'll admit, I'm biased. But that team was special..

Mine are simple on both accounts. And their has been some very good QB's for the Cowboys.

Best: Roger Staubach

Hall of Fame, always knew you were winning with him. Non Cowboys fans hated him because he was that good.

Worst: Babe Laufenberg

Kitna and Hutchinson give Laufenberg a run. As would Stephen McGee, but it's Laufenberg without question.

Ryan Lief was pretty disgusting in Dallas as well.

Ok. IMO.

1989 49ers
1985 Bears
1984 49ers
1986 Giants
1978 Pittsburgh
1968 Colts. Best team to not win a SB.
1991 Redskins.

I got ya. I remember where I watched the game and I knew I was there for thanksgiving in 06 so I just assumed it was then. Forgot I was there in 04 as well. I think we wore those throwbacks and the Bears wore those bright orange unis IIRC. I was only 13 though so I may be way off on all this

1976 Raiders were better than a couple of teams on the list.

This one is so hard. Marino was no doubt the best, but they've had some terrible starters since:

Go back before Griese. Dick Wood was 0-4 with 4 TDs and 14 INTs. He completed 36 percent of his passes. I don't care if he was an expansion QB. That's bad.

Plus he gets bonus points for being named Dick Wood.

Non expansion? I'd go with John Beck. He might be the all-time worst QB for two teams. And I think he was a 2nd round draft pick.

Did Beck start for the Cardinals?

At BYU he could sling it.

You are very much correct. The Boys wore the throwbacks, and the Bears had on orange. In 2006, it was the Buccaneers who came to Texas Stadium.

If you're a Vikings fan, is Brett Favre the answer for both?
