How so... They had a chance to stop them and get the ball..............

Who is more likely to score a touchdown and end the game, an offense or a defense?

The fact that CFB has to generate more tension in overtime (and to end the game eventually) shows its flawed

A massive selling point for CFB is the tension creating endings it produces on a week to week basis.

It absolutely is decided by a coin flip.

A game decided by a coin flip would mean that if you win the flip, you win...if you don't, you lose.

What is more likely for a given drive in the NFL...an offensive TD, or a defensive stop?

References as tGOAT on TD =/= Aaron Rodgers is the best QB ever.

He's arguably not even the best QB in the league this year. Not saying I wouldn't want his life, but it's true.

Gig 'em and such.

No, it's not. Asking for one fricking stop from your team's defense shouldn't be an unreasonable request.

The point is the Cadinals didn't have to ask their defense to get a stop, because they won a coin flip.

Imagine if LSU lost to Bana in this way. This site wouldn't survive.

I agree. It was such an awesome ending to a game to end without greenbays offense ever touching the ball. I mean we were happy for Arizona on that drive but it did not make for an exciting win.

Be that as it may, I firmly believe that the opposing team should have a right to answer a TD drive in OT.

Yes that makes the rules less idiotic, sure. Letting a coin flip decide.

A defensive stop, but that doesn't change the fact that winning the coin toss gives you a big advantage.

The Cardinals didn't have to ask their defense to get a stop, because they scored an offensive TD.

And that only mattered because they won a coin flip

These two hail marrys were amazing throws by Rodgers, but damn, both of them were amazing catches by wide receivers.

Which they had the chance to because they won a coin flip.

GB didn't get that chance.

Pure chance

GB had their chance. Only 35% of drives result in TD's for the best offenses.

Arizona had their chance, too.

And then they got another chance when they won the coin toss.

If winning the coin toss didn't give a team a huge advantage, then why does everyone take the ball if they win? And why did the nation collectively laugh at New England when they fricked up a few weeks ago and kicked to open OT?
