My point was that Pippen should keep his mouth shut on topics like this. Only Jordan should make such assessments, because without him, the Bull don't win those titles.

Well, to be fair, we know how many Jordan can win without Pippen - 0.

Doubtful, but I'm glad you brought them up. That teams playoff run is one of the best ever. Shaq would average 40 plus against this Warriors team.

One of?

How do current teams defend the triangle offense that the Bulls used then? They must have figured out some method since the triangle offense isn't being used any more. The Bulls offense was not unstoppable in the 90's, and it wouldn't be unstoppable against today's players who play a more team oriented defense than was allowed in the 90's.

No one figured it out, Phil just retired.

He's likely wrong, and needs to also remember, he has no titles without Jordan being on his team.

If it wasn't for injuries in 94 and an epic comeback in 2000 he would have 2 titles as the best player. Pippen came 100000x closer to winning as the best player than MJ ever came to winning without Pippen as the 2nd best player

Good point. If he wins one without Jordan it would have had a significant impact on Jordan's legacy.

And his for that matter.

Game 7 of the 2000 western conference Finals is the most important game in NBA history.

I'm willing to guess that he's saying the Shaq/Kobe dynasty never takes off, opening up more titles for Portland, Sacramento and the Spurs.
