Would Golden State have even made the playoffs?

Tell me who on the Warriors is going to guard MJ?
so... Again, those teams in the 90s that took the Bulls to 6 or 7 games, you're saying they all, every single one of em, had better equipped guys to stop MJ than Golden State?

Maybe in a down year where they could get in with a losing record?

indeed, the warriors would have been the first d league team had they been around in the 90s. they would all curl up in a ball and quit even against the worst teams that year.

Maybe GS would have had a chance during expansion...

If Curry wasn't protected, woulda expansion team in the 90s even draft him, seeing as how teams would make him quit every other game?

Curry would have been broken in half. Pippen would guard him with one hand tied behind his back and with shoes on the wrong feet.

Harper and Pippen would wear the frick out of Curry. Harper is what all these comments are forgetting. The Bulls versatility on defense is what wins it in 6.

Harper, joran, pippen, Rodman are all 1st team defenders with unbelievably great perimeter defense.

physical 90s hand check defense

if you play by today's rules GSW wins games.

If you can beat up Curry, Bulls win in 5.

the hand check rules were extended by refs to WINK! allow players to hang on to opponents in the NBA finals. Tyran Lue and the Lakers escaped Phila and Iverson because Lue grabbed Iverson's arm and that was the only way to keep up with him.
Iverson averaged 27.6 per game, the same as WILT.

That midget Delly was able to bother Curry a little in the Finals last year. Not a stretch to think Pippen would bother him more.

Also, Rodman gets Draymond ejected in less than 5 minutes...every game.

They actually played defense back then, I agree with Pippen.

Dellavadova is much shorter than Pippen, allowing him to give Curry less space.

If you think Pippen could keep up with Curry without getting blown by then I can't help you.

Not really a valid talking point until we see what GSW does in the playoffs.

I doubt it would be a sweep but the Bulls would win in 5 or 6. Jordan would be unstoppable and yes pippen could shut down curry or they would let curry get his and shut everyone else.
