tulane looking like they're gonna get worked by houston again.

really disappointing week. the hitting has left tulane over the past few weeks. no chance at hosting a regional now, and not looking good to compete well with a #1 seed next weekend.

Tulane needs 4 runs in the bottom of the 9th to save their hosting chances

I wouldn't count them out for a postseason run with that pitching. Depends on matchups, of course.

The hitting has been bad but with five good starters we have a chance. I just hope we get sent out of state

the key is avoiding lsu. tulane doesn't want them right now.

ULL, ole miss, vanderbilt (if they host), florida state, NC State would all be ideal.

the houston/uconn winner is going to be a shitty 3 seed for someone's regional.

houston is playing like they should have all season, and uconn is incredibly hot. houston has the type of team that can win a regional as a 3 seed. their pitching (romero, dowdy, etc.) is legit.

eta: would be hilarious if they send houston to lafayette as a 3 and they win the regional after what happened a year ago

If it's Houston, I assume they get sent to A&M. UConn could be sent anywhere, of course.

meh, never know what the committee will do. it's not like lafayette is far from houston.

True, I'm just thinking a national seed like A&M gets a "weak 3" like Houston. Who knows?

What happened? Cajuns use a non-weekend starter?

And that game will still end faster than A&M-Ole Miss.
