Khalil Thomas 237 rushing yards tonight.

Watch out 5A, the bears are on fire (just keep us away from West Monroe please )

LHSAA Week 8 Thread
Just wondering if the Catholic fans are complaining about the call in their favor? Muscona said it wasn't interference on EA and so did his radio counterpart. It gave Catholic another shot at a TD. Do they complain about bad calls in their favor?

McKinley agrees

Dutchtown 28
Woodlawn 0

Dutchtown should be about 6 or 7 TDs better. My multiple reports say DTHS looked like shite. If they play like that against Catholic, Catholic will win and it won't be close.

They won 55-28, I didn't mean anything more than an easy win tonight, I only got to listen to bits and pieces, but it sounds like the pretty much rolled all night. Should be an interesting two weeks with STA and DTown up next and both on the road.

St. Amant 30
McKinley 12

STA finishes with Catholic and EA. 2 wins and a Catholic win over Dutchtown gives them a share of district.

I haven't paid attention to HS football for years, but this must be one of the best district race in the last two weeks in awhile.

University - 46
Dunham - 17

Final.

Dunham had 3 good drives against U High's 1st team D, but only got 3 points. U High doesn't look like a 2A school anymore and more like ECA, JC, etc.

If you're talking about the EBR/Ascension 5A district, it looked like Catholic, DTHS, EA, and STA were all very close. But after tonight you'd have to say that Catholic maybe is starting to make some separation. I thought EA would possibly win district but they showed nothing after a heartbreaking loss last week at home against DTHS.

49-0 Rummel final... it was as anticlimactic as it sounded, 21-0 five minutes in.

#75 is a big time OL, and Damian Williams is built for a QB. nice arm too

I fail to see how they're pulling away. It's not like EA has been unbeatable this year

First, I want to clarify that I have no affiliation with Catholic and I am not a fan. But the separation is that they killed EA and Dutchtown was incredibly lucky to beat EA last week. And Dutchtown beat STA. So STA has to be perfect now and they still would need Catholic to beat Dutchtown. EA is out of it if Dutchtown beats McKinley (which will likely happen). And I have been much more impressed with Catholic than I have been with Dutchtown in the last 3 weeks. Dutchtown had no excuse for not putting up 40-plus on Woodlawn tonight if they're really a top 10 team in the state.

Sorry Modern, rough season for RHS.

Funny thing happened after i posted that earlier today....I ran into one of my classmates today and we immediately started talking about the team.

He told me that some of the guys that were part of the golden days 01-06 wants to come back and coach the freshman and JV team.

And they came up under the sid edwards mentality.

So at homecoming (02' championship team reunion), im guessing alot of business convos will be going on that day.
