Jesuit won 34-20 over Aug

If I was a Jesuit or St Aug fan, I'd be ashamed of the lack of support. The attendance for both sides was pathetic.

Thibodaux was winning 41-7 over CL..... not sure what it is now. ETA: 54-14 FINAL

Man that Thibodaux team was good. I watched them scrimmage Patterson before the season and they looked solid but they're hitting on all cylinders right now and looked like the best team we've played all year.

The Thibodaux lines are huge especially D-line, if you left when it was 41-7 you didn't get to see their 2nd team. Most of the linemen on their 2nd team were bigger than their starters and really young.

If that's the seeds, bottom bracket is ridiculously easy with no one in it except Ponchatoula. You should walk to the Dome.

louisianasportsline has Byrd, Destrehan, West Monroe in the top half. Arguably 3 of the top 4 in the state.

If the seeds hold, one thing I see (living in Ascension) that is crazy. St. Amant beat Dutchtown, moved up 3 and now has to go to Acadiana. Dutchtown, lost, dropped 3, and has to go to Barbe.

STA likely got the short end of that deal if that holds. They should have just lost.

I know Acadiana lost to Barbe, but Acadiana has a history of being unstoppable this time of year.

The other Ascension matchup would be Sulphur at EA. Isn't EA's coach the guy who got Sulphur to the Dome?

Acadiana is very strong again, but they put the ball on the ground A LOT. They will be tough to beat, if they don't turn it over.

How is East Ascension? Looks like that is where we will be playing.

EA's offense is scary good. They have a God-awful defense. Last 2 weeks they gave up 57 to St. Amant and 58 to Catholic. And Catholic had 58 in the 3rd.

5-5. 3 losses to Plaquemine, Catholic and Brother Martin. Lost to Woodlawn on a pick-six on the final play (I believe), and STA jumped all over them early and kicked their arse. All losses to top-20 5A schools and the #1 4A team. Wins include St. Charles Catholic, Patterson, Lutcher and Dutchtown.

They're probably better than their record. But their defense is getting exposed right now.

Does Barbe still throw the ball all over the field? Dutchtown could be a nightmare matchup on defense. Justin Reid and Alonzo Craighton are both FBS players. The rest of their secondary is good too.

If their best RB, Bolding, is still out, Barbe should be able to stop them. Their QB throws a lot of INTs. They turn the ball over A LOT. That's why Lutcher and EA beat them.
