re: Did Madison Prep really need to score 134 points last night? - clhstrojans
Unlike Evangel and John Curtis, those two schools are afraid to lose.
One of these is not like the other. One played 5A while the other hid out in 4A claiming their other sports couldn't compete in 5A despite the fact that they were winning championships in those sports in 4A. ...

re: LHSAA basketball bracket question... - clhstrojans
Also just want to add. The refs said they called the game because there were people on the court. Again I was not there, this is from my buddy who was sitting right next to the action. Said there were people on the court but it wasn't many and most were heading to bathrooms/concession since it w...
Robin fambrough is live tweeting the hearing. Cl apparently threw the first punch and missed.
According to ESJ. Lafourche deputy says ESJ player threw two punches. Which seems more likely? - Central Lafourche up 20 points. - Robinson - CL player they claim threw punch, a honor ...

re: LHSAA basketball bracket question... - clhstrojans
We're looking like the #4 seed in 5A. We're paired up with #13 Central Lafourche and #20 Terrebonne in round 2. If Terrebonne gets the forfeit win after Central Lafourche had that fight Friday night, does it count as travel and they get to host us in round 2?
From what I understand...

re: LHSAA basketball bracket question... - clhstrojans
What's ridiculous is they didn't talk to any of the schools to get their side of the story before they made a ruling, thus there would be no need of an appeal. ...
Sounds like an unbiased source
Well they wouldn't call the game and give CL the win if CL started the brawl now would they?...

re: East St John/CL game ends in a brawl. - clhstrojans
Meh other schools in the district are more trashy. At least ESJ isn't accessing HUDL accounts and still treating their cheating head coach as a hero years later ....
And it was a former Tarpon at Destrehan that did the accessing. Still accessing hudl accounts is a white collar crim...

East St John/CL game ends in a brawl. - clhstrojans
CL up 45-25 at half, and ESJ players attack a CL player at halftime starting a brawl. Game called CL wins. Absolutely ridiculous, never have any problems with any other school in the district, but every year in multiple sports we have to deal with ESJ thugging it up....
Junior's uncle Sean was a badass quarter miler. Do Kenneth and David run track?
I don't know if they run, but I know Robinson throws the shot put, and holds his own with all those big linemen other schools have throwing. ...
If I ever meet up with Coach O, I am gonna give him a good ole "Give em hell CL!!"
 My buddy is helping organize that Coach O banquet down the bayou. I told him I'll come in full CL gear and see if he'd sign my hat. ...
I feel confident we'll land this guy. He's in the 30 square mile area we have walled off in the state. Hull can't touch this area. Hopefully they can turn out 3-5 players a year.
Dunno, might take some convincing to get a Trojan to go play for a Tarpon....

re: Where will Harris go? - clhstrojans
I'd like to see him go to Tulane tbh. They have decent receivers that can make plays. I could see Harris killing it there*
That would be a terrible fit. Fritz wants to run the option, not throw the ball, the oline is shaky, and the receivers aren't great. The only good one they had...

That's why I'm posting, so Tony Hull can get a look at him. If he lived a couple miles east he'd be at Hahnville and would have one already....

Kenneth Poindexter (6'4 188 lbs, Wide Receiver) Central Lafourche - clhstrojans
[link=(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQx4D4Qua_A)]Kenneth Poindexter II Highlights[/link] I posted the video of our 6'4 receiver David Robinson the other day. This is our other 6'4 receiver. He's not quite as physical as David is yet, but he has a bit more speed and is getting better and better...
CL could be a lot better if they didn't blitz every down. Their offense was pretty good.
CL better trim the fat on the coaching staff and finally turn that corner in football because Sanders has the basketball program rolling. The best athletes will eventually focus on just basketb...
what can you tell me about the QB? Related to hodson?
No Jake Allemand. Dad was CL's QB in the late 80's early 90's and played for Nicholls. He had a good year 178/333 2389 yds, 26 tds. Was 1st Team All-District, 1st team All-Region, 5th Leading passer in the state, and was avg...
His tape actually looks pretty good. Is he camping ? Get him in camps this summer, with his size alone he'll turn some heads and have the opportunity to earn offers at camps.
That's a big problem with CL players, they never go to camps. David and our other WR Poindexter haven't cau...
