Section 119 here. Be there on Friday!...
In high school, testing started this week....
I'm just going off coaches that I talk to all the time. Most are assistants and don't like the split. Obviously a lot of others I talk to love the split. I am against the split and always have been and all I have ever worked for is public schools....
Possibly because basketball coaches don't have much say so in Calcasieu Parish. Principals are ADs, not coaches. If you did an anonymous poll between all coaches, whether they are an asst or head coach, and you will see most don't like the split....

I believe their is an exception, but I'm not 100% certain. The player may not have to miss a year if the he head coach, AD, principal, and Superintendant sign a waiver allowing the transfer. ...

Your child can pick any school in the parish and declare it his home school. If he decides to transfer to another school, he must sit out a year even if its in his own school zone. This is how I have interpreted it....
My family lives in Cinco Ranch Southwest. I absolutely love it. Every time I visit, I always see purple and gold all over that area....
I thought it was smart to intentionally walk Austin Nelson all night. Smart coaching move without a doubt. Obviously you haven't watched many Sulphur games this year b/c Austin was one of the best base runners they had this year. Just b/c he is big doesn't mean he can't run....

I'm okay losing out on Nick Lee. He is destined to have TJ as much as he pitches every week since his Sophomore year. ...

Wanted a bigger offer from LSU, but they did not budge from original offer. Miss St. offered a bigger scholarship....
Barbe's defense is playing really well right now. Their DE and MLB are very good. They dont throw it around near as much when they had Fontenot/Quinn, but their offense is getting better every game. Their RB Banks is the real deal and only a sophmore...
Acadiana is very strong again, but they put the ball on the ground A LOT. They will be tough to beat, if they don't turn it over. How is East Ascension? Looks like that is where we will be playing....

Wanted a bigger scholarship, but LSU said no. So he his looking at other schools for the time being. I'm sure he will get some big offers from several mid-majors....
We played them last week and it was #35 who was an animal all night. He blew up several of our run plays....

Not really surprised. Kinder has been hot with the bats lately. They torched the other day. Plus they just got back their ace from torn ACL in football. He threw a complete game 3-hitter against JC....
