you know, the south lafourche kid could have set destrehan up... let's assume the kid had Hudl on an Ipad or laptop. he could have got on destrehan's campus and logged in himself on their wireless network
as for knowing all the formations in the game, maybe Destrehan being one of the top teams in the state, is so quick on defense that it only seemed that way
would you put ANYTHING past down the bayou folk?

I hope we get the chance. Pretty sad that Destrehan's season could be ruined by a dumb decision against a school that begged to get out of the district with the river parish schools. SL also has one of the worst group of fans I've ever come across. By no means am I defending what these coaches are accused of doing but the kids deserve a chance to realize their potential and firing anyone would cripple those chances.

Non-select 5A is a crapshoot if Destrehan is out.
Nobody really knows how good Parkway really is because they don't play anybody outide of Byrd. The Lafayette/LC district is strong. West Monroe always makes a run. One Northshore team will make a run. The rest of 5A is garbage now that Palelei is hurt.

South Lafourche High School has reported to the LHSAA a rule violation involving football coaches of Destrehan High School following the game between the schools. The alleged violations involve improper and unauthorized access by certain Destrehan coaches to practice video of the South Lafourche team during the week of practice prior to the game. The practice sessions of the team are recorded on a HUDL password protected web-based account, which allows players to access practice sessions to view their performance. The viewing of the video of SLHS practices, in the view of the administration and coaches of SLHS gave Destrehan an unfair competitive advantage and was a violation of sportsmanship, ethics and fair play, and potentially exposed South Lafourche High School players to an increased risk of injury. It is the understanding of SLHS that several of the coaches of the Destrehan football team have admitted to accessing the account and using the information to game plan against SLHS. The Lafourche Parish School Board administration and the administration at South Lafourche High School are awaiting a decision from the LHSAA and they are seeking forfeiture of the contest by Destrehan and discipline of the coaches involved in this unfortunate incident.

Really? Ask parkway how fair their punishment was. Their players nor coaches did anything and now they have to play every playoff game on the road b/c of their principle.

Skin, sounds like a decent enough punishment for Destrehan:
All coaches with knowledge of this incident are suspended for the remainder of this season, all Destrehan playoff games are on the road and every playoff opponent is provided exact information on Destrehan plays, game plan, schemes, hand signals, etc.

On talent alone probably the third round. And in reference to the guy who brought up Parkway, the punishment proposed by the other poster was to have Destrehan play on the select playoffs, which in my opinion is not a punishment for Destrehan but for the select schools.

and in the 80s a team won state that shouldn't have even been in the playoffs... based on ANOTHER teams win with an ineligible player....
if desty doesn't forfeit this game... something is categorically wrong with the LHSAA...
but I think the punishment will be much more severe.

no, but in the 90s.. a high profile program accused another high profile program of filming their practices from an apartment....
