I'm going to have to go one of these years. I was actually born during the running of the derby 35 years ago. Whenever the 2nd hits on a Saturday again, I'm going to make it a birthday weekend trip and hit all the distilleries I want to go to as well.

I zero interest in going to churchill for derby day. been there during fall meets, was good enough.
it's so packed, that if u dont get to windows early, u will be shut out, i'm a late bettor, i like to wait till last few minutes, to see if any crazy tote action comes up.

I had a ton of fun last time I went to the derby. Paddock passes for a horse running on oaks day were awesome and the tickets my dad got me were great. I could bet, get drinks, and go to the bathroom without too much wait.
