6th straight Oaks and Derby and looking at the deepest field in years.

Tough to predict before the post draw. If I had to bet prior to post positions: I really like Nyquist and Exaggerator. Mo Tom & Brodys Cause are the longer shots I like.

If he can get a clear trip, I think Mo Tom has a shot. I think Tom's Ready will prove to be a nice grass horse down the road.

After the crappy dive inside in the La Derby, if that jock gets the mount again, shame on the trainer.

Same thing happened in the risen star. And yes, Corey is back up

Mohaymen was leaping like a deer in his gallop. Ears pinned, constantly fighting to do more. I'm worried about him in the walkover and paddock. Also, today and yesterday he was in a rubber figure eight instead of a regular noseband. Doesn't seem to really be helping much.

If he can't relax galloping, how in the hell is he going to rate in that field? Or am I missing something?

I was locked out bc I forgot about the last future. Only bet I was gonna make was creator.

Could've had him at 60-1...

Oh well. Too many closers anyway. But I love him! At least he made me $ in his last 2

I'm more worried about a complete meltdown before the race. Every gallop from him I've seen he's leaping and fighting

What's the difference, what does this tell you? I clearly am not as knowledgeable about the small things like this.

Also, I remember someone last year posted a link to daily practice/workout report sheets (or whatever they're called). Where can those be found?

Cali horses...

3 of the last 4 winners have been California horses.

Supposed to give more control. The horse can't get their mouth open to avoid the bit. A rubber figure eight has a little more give than a leather one, so I've heard it helps with keeping them from setting their jaw against it.

The California horses. Have not looked at workout times yet to make a choice.

There are a lot of California horses

Your broad statement includes a maiden.

I really think Mo Tom could have won both of those races if he hadn't checked. Both situations happened very similarly. I would love to know if the jock didn't notice the front horse slowing so much or is it the horse who just really likes the rail. In the Risen Star, it actually looked like he made contact with the front horse. The jock looked like he looked back when it happened.
