Legendary status. Wouldn't that be enough for alcohol poisoning?

@brdispatch: Ohio State has suspended J.T. Barrett for the Minnesota game, confirms OVI violation last night.

Brave move. Suspend him for the game with the bottom-feeder whose coach just resigned.

well, its pretty standard procedure to suspend athletes on their next game in a situation like this. I guess they could have let him play @ Minny and enforced his suspension against MSU to make you feel better about it.

When a Florida player broke into an impound lot to get a car and he was arrested, urban didn't suspend him the next game. I'm sure it wasn't becaus the next game was a road game against #1 LSU.

Ok fine. Maybe he will suspend him for the Illinois game instead. Would you be happy then?

I understand it just fine, it's just a stupid analogy.
Well my analogy may have been stupid, but the emotional appeal was stupid too. But at least we can agree that Barrett's decision was stupid. I think he'll get an appropriate punishment, hopefully learn from his mistake, and move on.

Well that's also when ole Urbz was SEC thuggin. Now he's back to his wholesome Ohio roots again.

I hope so. Learning that him running from the checkpoint was BS is a positive. Leaves some hope that he's not a total dumbass and can take responsibility for what he did.

I find it interesting that Florida fans, and SEC fans as well, think the problems down there were unique to Urban Meyer.

He's a 20 year old that made a 20 year old mistake. He'll get a short suspension which is warranted. He'll probably also have to earn back his starting role. That seems appropriate to me.

My son got a DUI when he was 18. We did everything in our power as parents to keep it off his permanent record. He learned from the mistake. Some do and some don't.

As an aside looking at the OT posts about drunk driving checkpoints LSU people should stfu about this. They think checkpoints are the bane of society.

Since when is a DUI especially when under 21 a misdemeanor? And some of you tOSU fans were claiming how the Columbus police aren't as bad as the ones in Tallahassee?

Ummm since they passed the law on OVi's.

Are they supposed to magically make a misdemeanor a felony?

Do you know the difference between misdemeanor and felony DUI? Kinda sounds like you are clueless, which look is fine, but please do the world a favor and get some knowledge before going full retard.

We could do what LSU and Les Miles do and have a team vote. Would that make you happy?
