You have no idea how he was affected by a .099 BAC. He was actually close to five times his legal limit, so I misspoke when I said four times.
No I don't, but you're proving my point. Your reasoning is defined by arbitrariness.

Well, you're assuming. Breaking the law is not something I would let go because my kid was the one who was stupid enough to do it. I don't have a kid that was raised to think drinking and driving was a good idea, but I do have relatives who have been arrested for it. I have about the same amount of sympathy for them as I do for anyone else, which is very little. They paid for their mistakes and moved on with their lives, and most were better for it. Hopefully JT can do the same.

Hey dumbass. No one raises their kid to think that drinking and driving is an appropriate action. Take the fricking board out of yOur arse. Bad things happen to good people and bad people. Your extremist approach in this is growing old.

There it is.

After some of the posts in this thread, I'm less convinced of that.

And again. You're an embarrassment. Please tell me that you're at least only a sidewalk fan.

This wasn't some random "bad thing" that happened. He made at least two stupid decisions, and he will and should pay for those stupid decisions.

What would be the charges in Ohio if this were not the starting QB of the Buckeyes and just some random kid from the campus?

I don't have a problem with him paying for his decision. He will both as a player and as a citizen.

Depends on the arresting officer and the circumstances. I'd imagine JT was polite and cooperative with no other offenses, so they let him go with a ticket and court date. We had more Marines that I want to admit get DUIs, and as long as they weren't belligerent, they'd let us come pick them up with a citation and court date.

I appreciate the insinuation, but his status as Ohio State's starting quarterback had nothing to do with him getting released instead of going to jail. We aren't Florida State.
