Would love to hear your logic behind a 5 game suspension.

He could have killed someone. Teach him a lesson that he hopefully gets, and let him get back to work next year. Pretty simple. I'm not surprised from what I've seen of some of you that you wouldn't agree.

1 game is a joke.

I remember a team 3 years ago who was undefeated and in the Top 15 trying to establish theirselves the first year in a new conference, and their star QB got pulled over for DUI and was suspended the rest of the year.

Also this rules out Game Day for Stillwater. Would be bad PR for ESPN and their panel to talk about how a 1 game suspension is plenty and how this is no big deal with a crowd behind them who just had to go through a campus wide DUI related tragedy.

School policy says 2 games. They say it doesn't apply as it was a misdemeanor, but some of you want him done for the year? Wow.

School policy? Yeah, not really caring too much about that here. He knew what he was doing was wrong and dangerous, and even tried to run away from it. He got lucky. He shouldn't get off easy because of that.

Its clear Ohio State is ESPN's favorite team... for crying out loud they just put Ohio State on the 7:00 Prime Time ABC broadcast with their A-team against RUTGERS... yes losing record Rutgers.

They will do all they can to make Ohio State look good and make excuses for them.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. He could have hit a crowd or hit a car with a family in it. He's lucky that he didn't and this might have been a mistake for him, but he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt here.

Like he did with Ryan Perilloux

This is no different than any other season with whoever is winning championships and bringing in money.

2 games seems appropriate. Glad nobody got injured.

Sure, but this is such a lazy argument. You do realize you are very much with it at a .08 BAC?

You could also use this argument if he was caught speeding. Do you want 5 game suspensions for speeding?

Like what? Pretty predictable you would post this type of response after BF87 called your post history out.

FWIW, I think every Buckeye fan here is saying 1 game is too light.

That, or common sense.

And since he's under 21, be may have technically blown a .02, right?

It was reported he was slightly above .08. So even if it was under, he would have still been cited because he's 20.

Everyone thinks they're a professional driver at .08. That doesn't make it so.

How far over are we talking?

Called what out? I can't think of any reason why I'd care what he has to say, and a general statement about my "post history" won't slow my day down one bit.

No. It was a classic appeal to emotion. There is a huge difference between a couple drinks and completely inebriated. Both are wrong, but you conflating the behaviors and outcomes of both. It's an argument based on emotion and ignorance.

Trying to make it look like you care. Good plan but I see right through it.
