You should keep going down this road of how they're similar. You nailed it with regard to comp %. They are definitely similar there. (ETA: Favre averaged 9th in comp % over 19 seasons... Eli's best season is 9th. )

Also Eli's only played 13 seasons and can still supplement his total, plus he has 2 rings to Favre's 1

He's not coming anywhere close to Favre.

You know it, but like we've seen numerous times from you, you're deathly afraid to admit that you're wrong.

Not happening and even if he came close, it doesn't make him any close to Favre skill wise, as outlined above you.

You can extrapolate out where Eli would be comparatively. For example, Favre has over 3 times the amount of top 10 yard seasons. It would take Eli 39 years playing to reach Favre's total. Favre has 13 times more top 10 finishes in completion percentage. It would take 133 years playing to match Favre's top 10 finishes in that category. At their current rates. Blaming Favre's great lead in these categories on his longevity over Eli is misguided at best.

Eli was the no.1 pick in 2004 whereas Favre was a second-rounder in 1991 so apparently the league thought Eli was pretty damn skilled as a quarterback, hasn't bottomed out as a no. 1 overall pick. NOW as far as PEAKS go, Favre has a longer one than Eli, 1995-97, 2009 to Eli's 2011.

Eli is also very inconsistent.

As someone whose had him two different years in Fantasy Football I can absolutely echo this as fact.

Dude chill, I wasn't actually comparing Manning's career and accomplishments to Favre's career and accomplishments, I was comparing their weaknesses. Favre's top 10 QB all-time, Eli's a tentative top 10 QB NOW, he's probably top 50 QB all-time maybe lower.

I mean look at the last 4 years:

2013, no OBJ:
57.5%, 3818 yards, 6.93 YPA, 18 TDs, 27 INTs, 69.4 Rating

2014, with OBJ:
63.1%, 4410 yards, 7.34 YPA, 30 TDs, 14 INTs, 92.1 Rating

the screams, OMG HE'S ELITE!!

2015:
62.6%, 4436 yards, 7.18 YPA, 35 TDs, 14 INTs, 93.6 Rating

OMG HE's REALLY ELITE!!

2016:
63.0%, 4027 yards, 6.73 YPA, 26 TDs, 16 INTs, 86.0 Rating

and...back down to his lowly average.

Farve is definitely overrated.

That said, Eli is not a Top 30 QB of all time. Maybe not even Top 40.

Eli is nowhere near the QB guys like Rivers and Romo are, he was lucky enough to have an average team catch fire at just the right time...twice.

Ironically his two best teams lost their first playoff game.
