Flacco's never been a dominant quarterback since he entered the league, last season was the first he ever exceeded the 4,000 yard mark, never thrown for more than 30 TDs IN THE NFL'S HEAVY PASSING-ORIENTED CONTEXT!

If you are going to measure a career that way Andrew Luck is averaging 1.81 TD/G and 272 ypg, which is closer to Tom Brady than Flacco is to Eli.

I'm not measuring his career like that. Just demonstrating that Flacco is a similar player-type. On a per game basis Flacco compares very favorably to Eli. He isn't a Manning so people rightfully rate him in the second tier. If the question is who has the best aggregated stats over time, obviously it is Eli.

Yard amount, TDs(with exception to 1995-97), TD/INT ratio, the completion pct margin between Favre and Manning isn't vast like posters are portraying it to be(over 2%)

And how he handled the 2004 Draft, I've never really perceived Eli as a media darling despite that he plays in the country's biggest media market. Giants fans are incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about football, they figure out quickly when their QBs are playing erratically as opposed to efficiently.

Brett's probably the 2nd greatest QB of the 1990s behind Steve Young, 3 consecutive MVPs really elevates a legacy and reflects on his prolific play during that 3 year stretch.
