A lot of teams could go 11-1 with that schedule. It is hard for any team to go 12-0, we really don't see many undefeated teams. There are probably 20 teams that could go 11-1 with that schedule, and they would all have a chance at going 12-0.

It's easy to rest the entire year and then get your team up for 2 tough games. That schedule is downright embarassing.

Not as embarrassing as what our 3rd string QB kept doing to your All-American safety

We are talking about this year. Your schedule is so pathetic. It's on national news now about how bad it is.

Come on Larry. Respond to my post about VT. If they are the 35th ranked team in the country on a neutral site, then they beat about 90-95 of 120 at home in primetime.

And only 10 teams in the country are capable of beating Sparty at home

Edit: OSU would have taken almost any team to the woodshed on Monday night. Just because VT lost by 18 at home doesn't mean they are bad. They could be top 25 quality

this was always the year ohio state was going to make a title run - last year was a fluke, truly.

you should start to accept this now, because its a strong possibility ohio state will repeat; its set up perfectly for them to do so.

Alabama could go 0-12 with that schedule, still jump a few undefeated teams due to their ability of having excellent "game control" and march to the College Football Playoffs.

Serious answer on how many I think would:

-Alabama
-Ohio State
-TCU
-UCLA
-USC
-UGA
-Clemson

Teams that might:

-FSU
-Auburn
-LSU
-Georgia Tech
-Texas A&M
-Notre Dame

Except Frankie is so past his prime now and everyone in the SEC except Vandy could beat them.

Also Michigan State is a good team and that's really the only exciting game on your schedule. How can you guys even get excited for most of the season?

Oh, so the SEC must have been weak from 2006-2012 then right? That's why SEC teams won Championships for 7 years right? Quit making lame arse excuses. Ohio State is a good team, they would just easily win the SEC as Bama or any of the top SEC teams.

and don't give me any SEC teams are worn down crap either. The East is much weaker and the thru the meat grinder SEC West has rolled the East in the SEC CG since 2009.

Would you suggest the NCAA break up conference affiliations and let everyone play an ND-type schedule to balance things out?

Yes that's the only way to do it. If something doesn't change soon you'll see the SEC protest that this playoff was conspired to keep the SEC out of it.

best way, but itll never happen because "tradition" and some other crappy excuses.

people are obsessed with regional scheduling like we are living in the 1920s, i mean wtf we no longer travel on horse and buggies.

do SEC fans really care that they win the SEC title? Not really, the national title is ALL that matters.

everyone should play national schedules. ND is only one that does it right (they also never play shitty FBS schools)

Dude, you are pathetic, first of all, the SEC WAS THE MAIN ONE PUSHING FOR A PLAYOFF! Second, the SEC has not been left out of it. The SEC was just as tough last year and the SEC Champ was RANKED # 1 going in. It does not matter how many teams are on Ohio State's schedule that are unranked on Sept 10. Cry your little pity party if the ?SEC gets left out until then grow an freaking pair and quit worrying about Ohio State.

Lets not forget ND also plays a half conference schedule (ACC) and a national schedule.

But their schedule is soft, they are terrible, and the Subway Alum walked on my grass and took my Halloween candy.

I hate the SOS arguments because they are flawed anyway.

you mean like playing Navy and USC? Nothing crappy about traditional conference rivals.

it still can get costly and why play Washington instead of Mississippi if you are LSU?

A great tragedy of our sports culture.

ND plays a mini ACC schedule so you can get off your high horse like you play OSU, Bama, OU and USC every week. As far as not playing FBS, this is getting a lot of run, but frankly it is not much different than playing some MAC and CUSA teams. I'd like to see the conferences go to 10 games and 1 P5 teams, then play 1 non P5 but FBS team every year.

That's silly. The SEC isn't the only conference with good football teams. But I think this year doesn't really have an elite team that is clearly better than everyone else.
