I assume you were impressed by UGA and Ole Miss

No. They played no one as well. But they also crushed their opponents. Mich St escaped their opponent. Mich St should have done the same as UGA and Mississippi. They didn't.

Michigan State wasn't shut out by McNeese State last weekend.

Ohio State has a great team but they won't be beat up at the end of the season because they play cupcakes. Every SEC team will have injuries by the end of the season because the SEC doesn't play community colleges all season. All their starters will be fresh.Ohio State is a good team though.

Ohio State didn't have any injury issues last year?

Meh. After the gift that Bama received in 2011 after only beating three teams during the regular season that ended the season better than 6-6, someone from another school should start an OP like this.
Easy schedules are OK for media darlings. That is the lesson I've learned watching CFB.

so how did the SEC manage to win 7 straight BCS titles? Was the conference must have been easy then and Ohio State got rolled by LSU and UF because they had been beat up in the B1G all year I suppose?
This is such a stupid argument. Just because a team isn't good doesn't mean they can't hit hard. The SECtards have gone from obnoxious about how great the SEC is to a bunch of whiny tittie babies.

Who did they play worth a shite? I agree that they are a great team but they can sit their starters for half the season. SEC teams can't.

It's pretty simple, there are like 3 good teams in the big ten. Half the SEC could go undefeated with OSU's schedule

you think Ohio State fans give a flying shite about playing Purdue or Indiana each and every single year?
Play Michigan, its always there, a staple - the rest of those B1G games are expendable.
Says the fan of a team with UVA, Wake, Temple, Pitt and UMass on the schedule. At LSU, I'd just as soon play Kentucky as Pitt, Ohio State may as well play Purdue as UMass.

As far as not playing FBS, this is getting a lot of run, but frankly it is not much different than playing some MAC and CUSA teams
why is this funny? I promise you SDSU, EWU and other a couple of other top FBS teams are better than bottom dwellers of the MAC or Sunbelt. But the more important point is at some level it doesn't really matter. If you are a top 20 team whether you are playing #80, #100 or #130 is difference is marginal. You should wax them all.

Ohio State could beat Alabama with their third stringers. You already knew that though.

Because they didn't have to play Tennessee, LSU, GEORGIA, FLORIDA, AUBURN,.... Do I need to go on?

Who do you play that's worth a shite or has any history of being a decent team?

Define "worth a shite?" Of course it is an "easier" schedule than the SEC, but the trouble with SECTards you see everything in absolutes. There are NFL players all over those B1G teams, just not as many. Good Lord do you think Ohio State can take an intermural team to play Purdue? What do you mean by "rest starters? For how long? When did Bama pull starters vs Wisconsin? And Don't act like that never happens in SEC play either. 59-0 over A&M last. Resting Jones or Bosa with 8 minutes to go is not going to make those guys so super fresh that it makes a difference in Jan.
The funny thing is this same argument has been made for as long as I've been on this board. What ever "flavor of the month" team that started ranked high (USC, West Virgina, Boise ST0 SECTards would start wailing and complaining about how east their schedule was and how "unfair" it was to the SEC and in 16 years of the BCS, an SEC team was in the BCS CG 10 out of 16 years. That's 62.5%. The SEC had 11 out of 32 possible appearances. That's 34%. Next was the Big XII with 7. Why on earth do you think the SEC would get left out of a 4 team playoff when it made a 2 team playoff 62.5% of the time? And if they are in but lose blaming on the SEC schedule vs the others is just proves what sore losers you are. If your coach can't get the team up for a fricking playoff, then that's on him.

Last season? Just Wisconsin and Oregon. The others were garbage.
This year, who knows.

lets see last year UGA was 10-3, thats the same as Wisconsin iirc, Tenn 7-6, LSU 8-5, UF 7-5 fired their coach and Auburn was 8-5. Real murders row there. It is worth noting that Missouri made the Big !2 CG twice in like 15 years and made the SEC CG twice in 3. If they can manage to get thru an SEC Schedule, then I'm pretty sure Ohio State can.
ETA: How many ranked teams did Bama beat in 2011? I think 50% of the ranked teams they beat that year were from the B1G

Does it bother you that Ohio State can whoop Alabama as easily as it can Northern Illinois?
