You don't understand what a 'football move' is. You can't make a football move without possession. As in turning upfield. Just stop. Your Cowboys lost. It's over. You should to have even been in the game. The Packers would've scored anyway. Give it up.

Yea, which is why the person that is actually trained for this and posted rules agreed with me.

Extending the football is a football move per the rule book bro

I guess you can debate if that happened but your definition of what constitutes a football move is incomplete

It is clear Dez had possession at the point of the "extension" or "non-extension". The only debate is whether or not Dez purposely extended the ball. Any other argument is pointless and being started by people who don't know the rules

Nah it's not totally clear. The ball was hit by the defender and was moving.

Jesus Christ, the NFL rule book specifically lists lunging for extra yards as a football move. And there is a difference between possession and completing the catch. Dez clearly had possession and nobody disputes that.

If you are saying Dez didn't clearly have possession in his left hand when the ball was extended I am straight up calling you a liar

Football move is irrelevant once Bryant went up and went down to the ground. He had to possess through the ground. He didn't.

What? That is not even remotely true.

If that statement holds true then there would never be a fumble after a reception, only incompletions.

You can go up, come down with both feet in bounds, make a football move and controlling to the ground is irrelevant.

I think we can all agree that the ref must've seen something pretty obvious that made it not a catch. Refs don't just overturn plays willy nilly.

Yall were robbed.
Nfl blows.

I'm reminded of the old Maddenism from the mid 90s... 'if 5 guys sitting around at a bar think it's a catch, then it's a probably a catch"

I'm not a cowboys fan, but that was a bullshite way to end a great game

Only if a football move was made Lnch. If no football move was made possession has to be completed through the ground. There is Zero argument as to whether he possesed the ball before touching the ground.

If he had possession according to the rules, how could that call possibly be overturned?
