Concerning that it's year 3 for Harbaugh and the offense sucks and they have no QB whatsoever. Is Mccaffrey going to be the guy next year?

Either way Harbaugh isn't worth $9 million. I don't think NFL coaches are making that and doubtful anyone except Saban is making that in college.

Why is "year 3" the talking point now?

What was Dabo doing year 3? What was saban in year 3 at LSU doing? Oh, that's right, he went 8-5 after a huge second year.

Michigan's 2014 recruiting class: 41

Michigan's 2015 recruiting class: 50

That matters.

year 3 has always been the "talking point" for a variety of reasons.

listen, i dont think anyone is suggesting JH needs to be fired or anything irrational to that degree.

but if you cant see the issues, youre being biased or dishonest

for 2018, i looked: who is going to be the QB? How will the OL do with a couple of key starters leaving?

you play ND, OSU, and MSU on the road so much tougher schedule

let me guess, another round of "its just a rebuilding year, wait and see"

No, UM returns 17 starters next season. I expect big things.

Brian Kelly is a great coach. After 2016, he had a similar winning % at ND that charlie weis had. What did kelly do? He went out and got good coaches on defense. Harbs needs to do the same.

One of the dumbest talking points the MSB has.

It's equivalent to saying Tennessee should have kept derek dooley.

Let me get this straight. Rich Rod, who had a 15-21 record through three years, didn't deserve to be fired, but harbaugh does?

This. Michigan won't find a better coach on the market. He might be a dick but this notion he can't coach is laughable. He's Top 5 in the country and I hate to admit that. Give him more time at Michigan. Urban came into situation where the cupboards were stocked.

Michigan, while not bad off in talent, isn't on OSU's level yet

What was saban in year 3 at LSU doing?

Yeah,

Saban went:

8-4
10-3
8-5
13-1
9-3

At LSU, but he's the greatest genius ever. And it turns out he had the greatest per capita recruiting talent right in his backyard as proven over the decade...while Harbaugh is stuck up in Michigan.

The genius Saban...in Michigan territory, up North...dealing with what Harbaugh is dealing with in recruiting...

Went:

6-5
6-6
7-5
6-6
9-2

While Dantonio has a higher winning % than Saban at Michigan State.

It matters where you coach and where the talent is. Saban became a genius once he got every advantage in the book.

Which is why Harbaugh is holding camps down South and Saban is bitching about them...because Saban wants to horde all the Southern talent while coaching for a legendary CFB school. Real hard hoeing there. It's like having LeBron, Curry and Westbrook and you get hired as the Lakers coach. What a genuis coach you would have to be to win.

Dude,

I think the point is you are paying big time money for big time result.

You are getting big time money for same ole same ole.

That why people question the $ for results.

Sure deep down you want them to exceed but, sometimes you just say we just got screwed for what you paid for.

It's ok we still love ya

LSU and Michigan State aren't blue blood programs.

And you're kidding yourself if you think the expectation level is the same.

Michigan is paying this guy $9 million a year. His annual salary is more than that of Saban's. 10-3 doesn't cut it when you're getting paid that much to coach.

Harbaugh is a great coach but he's dick head and a weirdo so people will pile on. These are the only guys better than him right now coaching CFB.

Nick Saban
Urban Meyer
Jimbo Fisher
Dabo Swinney
Gary Patterson
Chris Peterson
Mike Dantonio

Man, this board has become obsessed with Harbaugh if you're going to criticize him, then do it for last year. He had a roster full of upperclassman and he blew it. This team now is young with some really bad holes (oline, qb). They should be improved next year but UM fans need to lower their expectations. It might not be till 2019 before he wins a big 10 title. His Oline recruiting has not been good.

have you seen these assholes talk about Orgeron in his first year?
