No, but my interest in college football is minimal at this point. I do like Lamar Jackson though.

My interest in most television has diminished. I still watch NFL the most tho.

Watch fantasy players only, along with Saints.

If it's a team I don't like or I'm sick of seeing all the time (like the Cowboys or Patriots), I don't watch, even if I have fantasy players.

In addition to the fact that I don't think the product is that great anymore, the above is mostly why I don't watch anymore.

When I was a single guy, I'd binge watch college football all day on Saturday and do it all over again on Sunday with the NFL. Now that I'm married and have a child and can't just veg out on the couch for 2 solid days, I stopped watching pro football.

I didn't grow up rooting for a particular pro team. College ball was always my favorite, so watching the NFL wasn't that difficult to give up.

Also, at the end of the day, you're essentially rooting for a corporation when you watch the modern day NFL and have a rooting interest in a specific team. I've always found that odd and difficult to reconcile.

I play in a couple of fantasy football leagues, but only watch the Saints. Probably why I'm close to the bottom in both of my leagues.

I first started to lose interest when the Rams left Los Angeles. I don't watch pre-game or post-game shows (except for the Superbowl pre-game).

I tend to watch Red Zone on Sundays to track my FFL players in near-real time, and the Sunday / Monday night games I'll only watch if it's a really good matchup.

None of the political stuff players are doing affects my interest one way or another. I think the product on the field has suffered some, though.

On-field product has definitely suffered. Too many penalties. No one knows what a catch is anymore. They're trying to define something that can't be defined. It's one of those "you know it when you see it" things.

I still love watching NFL football but they do have some things they need to address.

ETA: Refs are getting better about not automatically throwing a flag when a receiver gets blown up. I think they heard the complaints about that.

ETA2: And they need to stop changing the rules every season. I'm kind of enjoying watching the touchback rule change backfire. For those that aren't aware, touchbacks go out to the 25 now. NFL thought this would encourage more players taking a knee in the end zone. However, Special Teams coordinators are kicking it short and forcing returns because they don't want to give up those 5 yards.

Has for me. Definitely feels like it's peaked. Heck, I really enjoy fantasy football yet am starting to not even really care that much about that.

Just get ready, because 2-3 elite American athletes becoming world renowned soccer players is going to change things forever and specifically for the NFL.

Yes. The regional games have killed the NFL for me. I want to watch the best games, not giving Atlanta or the Saints on Fox and the Titans on CBS. Every year I get sucked in and suck with that garbage. This year I've only watch Sunday night football.

I'm no longer invested in the product. Grew up in the 70's and was obsessed with the NFL. I'll flip through games now - maybe some red zone. It's just something to do - can't even watch close to a full game. My 11 yr old is a college football fan and has no interest in the NFL.

Not at all. There is a lot of new blood coming in to the league. Just think about it. Soon, Rivers, Brees, Brady will be gone. Peyton is already gone. shite, Big Ben is almost on the wrong side of 30. It's exciting seeing what the new crop of players will bring to the table.

Yes. I'm still a fan, a Saints fan, but Goodell trying so hard has helped wane my interest. If not for fantasy I'd probably only watch the Saints but even when those assholes win/lose/draw it doesn't make or break my day, just 3 hours of watching a game.

They are getting much better at this. No doubt they heard the complaints.

Which makes them fools. About 90% of the MSB called what would happen.

There is something to what he says. I definitely get fatigued on Sunday. It's a solid 12 hours if you go pre game to night game ending.

It has to push even the most tolerant of football widows and also the kids. My son (6) can sit and watch for a bit. But he's mocking me after a while. Just because I am sitting on the couch doing nothing.

Sunday is set up perfectly for the binge drinker though. You have a ready made excuse to blow it out for 12 hours every Sunday. Trying to find a new Breast-raunt in Katy though. If the one girl at the one place finally goes? It dries up fast.

Yes, though I was never a hardcore NFL fan. I have always liked college ball better. However, I think the NFL has a talent problem at this moment and they over ref games. Almost every single pivotal play has a penalty flag. its gotten out of hand.

Yes, and not just because the Saints have sucked for a while. Almost everywhere I look or listen, I have to see and hear about these bullshite social issues. I don't care which opinion you have, keep that shite out of my entertainment. You aren't paid for your views one way or the other. Very similar to musicians that go on political rants at their concerts. I'm not paying to hear your opinion on issues, I'm paying you to entertain me. Shut up and sing and dance like the puppet you are.

Yes. I used to be one of the biggest NFL fans on the planet. I'd consume as much of their content as possible, but ever since the "replacement refs" and seeing how little the officiating got better once they were removed, it started chipping away. Every terrible call, every crappy rule, and all the idiotic power plays just chipped away. The final blow was Deflategate, and how the league was just willing to lie to the general public. They made absolutely no effort to correct the false allegations released to the public (10 out of 11 balls were over one PSI OFF!!!) and anyone with half a brain realizes they were consistently leaking pure garbage because they had so little respect for the fans' intelligence.

Now, nobody has any idea what a catch is anymore. Most fans don't even celebrate big plays now until they check to see if a piece of yellow linen is on the field, and the officiating is so nonsensical and varies wildly from one crew to another.
