What's going to come of the incident today? He supposedly got a text from the field and came down to bitch at the refs about a flag. NCAA regs say no texting between press box and field.

No active AD should be on the committee. No one actively involved with any college should be on the selection committee.

the idea of a committee is so wrong.. they can't all watch the games.. and i would venture to believe whatever happens last will be all that matters.. too much room for bias and politics even if you don't think you are being bias..
just use the bcs and take the top 4 teams.. keep the playoff. ahh

This, although I don't think he should be on it in the first place. I just don't see how a current AD is going to have a completely unbiased opinion

Totally agree with this.
If he faces any kind of discipline/suspension it should be as an AD.
The fact that an active AD (especially of a powerhouse like USC) is one of the select few members on this committee is a joke, regardless of him running onto the field to yell at the officials.
