I guess I'm the only one who doesn't care about this. I don't see how it matters in relevance to his position on the selection committee.

LINK

Sarkisian texted Haden to come down from the press box after a few bad calls. Unprofessional all around IMO.

Neither do I. Weird seeing an AD on the field arguing about a call (if he even was), but does anyone really think he's going to somehow be biased and all that? They'll just say "don't go on the sidelines again"

Dude was an attorney and Rhodes Scholar, and worked in private equity. I think he'll manage to not stand in the room no matter what saying "USC in the playoff"

USC will probably be fined by the Pac-12 for a few thousand, and this will blow over. Besides... ASU's going to represent the Pac-12 South

he's the only one who's shown his arse and gone down on the field to engage with arguments with the refs yet. I like Haden, think he's a good AD, but he has no business being on the playoff committee. No active AD does, actually. He proved why tonight. Too much emotion to be objective.
I agree with this statement 100%. He had no business being on the field during the game. And if Sarkesian had a problem with the refs then he should take his balls out of his wifes purse and deal with them on his own. He is the head coach after all.

I think it's funny Haden went down there, completely out of character for him. SC fans have often voiced their discontent of Haden as dispassionate and too complacent, so this is a big kick in the nuts to that crowd. Me, I've always liked him since he was QB at SC so I'm down with him giving the refs hell. There were several really questionable calls during the game, especially the dismissal of Hayes Pullard, SC's best LB.

Give 'em hell, Pat and F the haters.

Off on a tangent, I know. What the frick is with you clowns that pick on the ONLY media outlet with dissenting views. You douchebags pick on the only ones not regurgitating the same old debunked white-supremacist and malevolent-capitalism sensationalist stories that make you feel better about yourself because you're not one of the "bad" white people that obviously hate everyone that isn't white. Seriously kid, frick off.

Ouch. Well "Has Pat Haden been removed from the selection committee?"

Personally I think he should, but mainly because I don't think any active AD should be on the committee.

Haden is a man of integrity, but he fricked up in this situation. I guarantee he will never do it again. But there wasn't anything even remotely questionable about that call on Pullard. You may not like the rule, but the rule was followed to the letter.
